Braden x Liam: Another Gay Romace Book

Braden and Liam sat on Braden's bed and playing cards on a late Saturday evening, as they always do. "You know, Kobe tried to match me with Elsie yesterday." Braden says putting down a card. "Really? I don't see that working." Liam says putting down a card. "Why not?" Braden says, trying to surpress his laughter. "I don't. She's a girl, you're a guy. It could work. I mean, if you're into that sort of thing." Liam says putting down a card. "Yeah, I mean I do like short blondes." He says. Liam sighs in an atempt to stop the emerging blush on his cheeks. "But, you know, I'm already taken." Braden says putting down a card. "Elsie's gonna be so disapointed." Liam mutters. "It's your turn." Braden says pointing to the deck. Liam hesitantly puts down a card. "You interested in anyone?" Braden asks, organizing his cards. "Maybe. Guthrie told me that the short Ava has a crush on me, so, you know." he says placing down a card. "Oh, really? I didn't know you liked brunettes." Braden says placing his second to last card down. "You never know." Liam says plaicng two cards down of his own. "Uno!" he calls. "We're playing uno? These are playing cards, look." Braden says turning his own deck. Liam looks down at his own cards and realizes. "Oh." he says. Braden just laughs and picks up the cards to shuffle. "You were too jealous to notice." he says dealing the cards. "I was not. I just got a bit confused." Liam says pulling his hat down. "Okay, bud." Braden says tapping Liam's hand.

"I do like someone, though." Liam says. "Oh, really? Is he devilishly handsome?" Braden says running a hand through his hair. "He's very modest. Very short, but still taller than me. Plays hockey." Liam says. "Oh, I'm jealous." Braden says climbing to sit next to Liam. "You should be. I really like this guy. He treats be nice, even in public. We hang out almost every day. I don't know what I'd do without him." Liam says leaning his head on Braden's shoulder. "Same, Liam. Same." He turns and kisses Liam on the top of the head. They spent the rest of the day playing actual Uno.
