Goldie POV

I was trying to steal this, but this bat girl says, she claims it.

We both look at the diamond.

"Ah... Hyah!" The bat yelled as she kicks the glass case, causing it to break. She picks up the diamond.

"Hello, gorgeous!" She said.

"Hey that's mine" I told her.

"How about this, we join up since were both thefts" she said.

"Hmm why not" I said with a smirk.

"I'm Rouge the bat" Rouge said as she held her hand out.

"Goldie Ogilt" I said as I took her hand.

"Now let's get out of here" Rouge said as she grabs my hand and flies away.

We are flying through the quiet night in Station Square.

"You may not be a Chaos Emerald, but you'll do, for now..." Rouge said.

"What's a Chaos Emerald?" I asked intrigued.

"I'll explain on the way to my hideout" Rouge said as we fly away.

Louie pov

The Tornado flying over the city. Sonic is spinning a ball on his finger while Bella is sitting next to him.

"Tails, you see anything down there?" Chris asked Tails.

"No." Tails answered as he steers the X Tornado.

"Nothing there." Tails said.

"Don't worry. We're gonna find those emeralds, and Sonic will help, right?" Chris said.

We turn around and realizes that Sonic and Bella has disappeared.

"Uh... Sonic...Bella...... uh wh-where are you?" Chris asked.

Bella pov

Sonic is barely holding on to the X Tornado with the ball, while holding onto me.

"Help us out!" I yelled.

Chris pov

"Hey, I bet that that's that Chaos Emerald you and Sonic have been trying to find, right, Chris?" Frances asked me.

"Kind of!" I answer.

"It looks like that?" Danny asked.

"Let's keep the chatting to a minimum and focus on the painting." Mr. Stewart told us.

"Ah, right!" We said as we return to painting our picture's.

"What's that you're painting, Chris?" Mr. Stewart asked me.

"Err... an emerald." I answer.

"But I thought all emeralds are supposed to be green." Mr. Stewart said.

"Uh, you're right. Funny. I'll just start over." I said.

"No, Chris. Your emerald can be any color you want it to be. Matter of fact, I heard a red emerald was found somewhere recently around Silky Heights." Mr. Stewart told me.

"In fact, if I'm not mistaken, they found that emerald in an old dilapidated factory not too long ago." Mr. Stewart told me.

Goldie pov

Me and Rouge are hiding, listening to what Mr. Stewart has just said.

"Hm, who knows what interesting little tidbits you can pick up if you hang around long enough!" Rouge said.
