"J-Jimin?".

Armani thought she was seeing things. That maybe that wasn't who she thought it was. That it wasn't the same seven boys she knew throwing two dead bodies into the han river. Mani could feel her heart beat faster in fear.
"It can't be", she whispered.
That means they killed those two men and their blood was on their hands.

She wasn't safe.
Aera wasn't safe.

She quickly ran upstairs to Jimin's bathroom, quickly getting Aera out of the tub.
"We're gonna go over to my place for a little while okay? Everything will be okay", she whispered.
She dried Aera off, changing her into a comfy cute pair of pj's and little pink slippers.
Armani made her way back downstairs with Aera in her arms, grabbing her things and making her way out the door.

Jimin said he wouldn't be home until after 10 or 10:30 so she was in the clear.
She grabbed Aera's carseat from Jimin's car, putting it into hers with Aera safley secured.
They drove off into the night, Armani's eyes filled with so many tears she could barely see.
She thought Jimin was different, that he was special.
But it turns out, she's been talking to a murderer all this time.

In the morning, Armani and Aera were asleep soundly in her bed. Mani held her safely in her arms, scared something would happen to her if she let her go.
Jada was asleep just right next door, snoring away with a squish mellow in her arms protectively.

A few knocks were heard from the front door, gentle knocks that the two roommates weren't used to.

Armani slowly crawled out of bed, leaving Aera in bed. She rubbed her eyes, letting out a big yawn in the process. All she had on was a baggy t-shirt and slippers, her black bonnet still on her head.

She opened the door to see someone unexpected. She was scared for her life when she saw him.

It was Jimin.

"I-I know Aera is here with you, and I know why she is. I watched the news this morning, I didn't think it would get out that quickly", he explained. His head hung low, like he was ashamed. Mani didn't want to jump to conclusions, she wanted to hear an explanation from him first.

She let him in, telling him to wait in the living room while she got Aera up and awake.
Once she did, she brought her into the living room. Jimin sighed with relief. He tried to get up and hold her but Armani backed away.

"I-I'm sorry I just...I want to hear what you have to say so I know she's safe with you", She advised.
Jimin soon nodded, understanding.
"I understand, and I'll explain everything".
Armani sat down on a seprate chair from Jimin, wating for him to start.

He sighed, telling himself he could do it. That he could tell his story.

"When I was a child, my father wanted to teach me the ways of being a part of the mafia. He honestly taught me everything I know. How to kill, how to threaten, how to not hesitate no matter the pressure I'm under.
When my 15th birthday came around, he told me it was time. That it was time to join.

That night he snuck me out of the house behind my eomma's back to go and kill this innocent stranger that worked at a convenience store.

My father attacked him, making me shoot him right then and there. I cried, and he punched and kicked me until I stopped. Because he didn't want me to be afraid or be pathetic. He wanted me to follow in his steps, I never wanted to. I wanted to be normal like any other kid. Not a kid that shot an innocent man", Jimin felt his eyes water, tears streaming down his face.

"I-I was so scared to tell you what I do because...I didn't want you to see me differently. Yes, I do kill people but only those who deserve it. Those two men you saw us dump into the river were the same two men that murdered two innocent teenage girls", Armani gasped slightly. She did overreact afterall. It all happened so fast, her natural instints were what reacted first.
They were the ones trying to do the saving, trying to be the heros they were.

"Jimin-ah I'm...I-I'm so sorry", Armani walked over to him, pulling him into her arms. She let him cry into her shoulder, feeling her shirt become soaked by his tears.
"I'm so sorry", Jimin cried out over and over.
He felt like a monster, the devil himself.
Being apart of the mafia did it to him.

"It's okay baby, you did nothing wrong. Those men deserved it, they deserve all of it. There's no telling what they did to those girls", she replied. She sighed with relief, thanking the man above. She wiped her own tears away.
Knowing he was practically forced to join this shit made her so emotional, so pissed off.
"Dada", Aera spoke, crawling into Jimin's lap. He chuckled, giving her kisses on her cheek.

"I'm sorry for taking her, I just got so scared, I wanted to make sure she was safe".
"It's okay,I probably would've done the same", he sniffled, wiping the rest of his tears away.

"So...is my brother apart of this too?", Armani asked.
"Yes but he chose to be. He didn't have to be apart of this life, it was just the simple fact that if his brothers did it, he would do it too", Jimin replied.
Taehyung was someone who didn't bullshit his decisions. That if his brothers wanted to risk their lives to save others, he wanted to he apart of it too.

Armani understood though, him and Taehyung were best friends. They all were.

"I um...don't have classes today and I thought about making breakfast this morning", Mani started, hoping Jimin would get where she was going.

"Oh no Jayiga you don't have to, I've already caused enough trouble".
"It's not like you meant to, I'm making you breakfast and that's final", she replied, pecking him on the cheek as she made her way into the kitchen.

"The hell is going on?", Jada mumbled, her eyes barely open, hair messy as she scratched the back of her neck out of habit.
Jimin wasn't sure what to say, knowing hearing the same news wouldn't be easy. Especially since she's talking to Jungkook, one of the people that were involded in the murder that happened last night.

"You might wanna seat down for this".
