"Oh baby be careful, you can't be in here while I'm cooking", Mani chuckled, helping her little boy, Elijah, move his baby bouncer back into the living room area.
It had been 2 years since Elijah was born, and he was such a precious thing that gave the house grace and joy. Aera was growing as well, equaling out the joy with her little brother which did make the house a bit chaotic at times.
Armani graduated from college and now stayed at home with her babies while Jimin went to work. Since he was paid more than enough, there wasn't much to worry about.
Armani could hear keys dangle from outside the front door, knowing it was Jimin and Aera. Aera was now attending school, it was an emotional first day when she started going for the couple but began to adjust it.

"Mama!", she exclaimed, making her way over to Armani. Mani smiled, picking her up into her arms. She always enjoyed her hugs after she got home from school, the couple always worried how she did when she was away from her usual environment.
"Hi my pretty girl, how was school? Learn anything?". "Oh um Mrs.Wells is teaching us new Korean words, like pabo but I heard a boy say that", Aera ranted. "Ah, maybe don't listen to everything you hear sweetheart", Jimin chuckled, kissing her on the head.
"And how is my lovely fiancé doing?", Jimin smiled as he brought his lover in by the waist. "Just making dinner, I can't do that for my husband?", Mani flirted back. "Ew yucky", Aera pretended to gag, making the two laugh down at her.
Later that night, they all sat down for dinner and ate.
And if you really looked at them, they did look like a family. Because they were.
Jimin always thought Si-woo was the one for him, and he felt responsible for her leaving or not even saying a word of why did what she did. To leave him with their only child.
But then, he happened to see his best friends sister walking down the sidewalk on his way to work. A nineteen year old girl who attended college and as if it was fate ran into a man she never thought she could love so much.
That she helped heal a man who had torn wounds, wounds so deep it hurt.
And maybe it was confusing for the two of them, having feelings regardless of the situations they were in. But, soulmates take that risk.
Who knew what could have happened if they didn't meet each other. Jimin could have been as miserable as he was before and Mani would be stuck feeling as if she won't have that one kind of happiness in her life, where she felt like she was in control and assertive for once.
But it was fate, she fell for an angel. An angel that was trapped in the midst of his own guilt, grief, and pain.
But, he freed himself, even if he was mocked for it. So what he kills people for a living, it was for the ones that deserved it. The ones that deserved to roll over in their graves.
He went insane to stay sane.
Like a dark angel should.
