It was a lunch break for Armani, meaning she had half an hour before her next lecture. She decided to go and get off campus lunch, wanting to try something different.
"Sushi sounds good", she mumbled to herself as she parked in front of one of her favorite sushi restaurants. She usually just orders in from there but decided to eat there since she had classes. She walked in, taking a seat at one of the booths they had. She smiled softly at the scenery, loving how it was decorated. The owner definitely had taste.
Her phone chimed in her totebag. She checked it, seeing it was Taehyung that had messaged her. "Hey sis! I'm gonna be busy tonight so I wanted to text you now:) how are your classes going? She grinned, replying to his text. "Their going okay, my English teacher is still on my ass but besides that I'm peachy lol". She laughed slightly at her own text, putting her phone away when a waiter came to take her order. "Hello, what would you like for a drink?"
"Green tea is fine, please". "And for your order?". "I'll have the california rolls please", mani said politely, giving the waiter her menu. "Alright, I'll be back soon", the waiter bowed before leaving. She decided to watch Criminal minds on her phone in the meantime, already on the third season.
Her head looked up quickly when she heard the bell go off, signaling someone had walked in. It was him.
It was the same guy she saw on her way to her classes that morning. And God, was he good looking. His looks were sharp yet cute. His hair was neck length, you could tell he was trying to grow it out.
And oh, did he know how to dress.
HIS OUTFIT:

He wasn't alone though, it was the cutest sight ever. He had his daughter in her stroller, and she looked just like him. She had a cute purple paci in her mouth, sucking on it gently as she played with her toys. He spotted Armani, waving as his eyes were the first thing to smile. Mani admired that, he had a cute eye smile. She had never seen something so unique.
Mani waved back with a grin, procrastinating if she should say hi or just finish another Criminal Minds episode while waiting for her sushi order. "Fuck it", she mumbled, clearing her throat. "H-Hey, your daughter is adorable. What's her name?", Mani felt proud for speaking up. He walked over with her, pulling down his mask just enough for her to see.
"Damn he's pretty", Mani thought. "Aera, Park Aera", he replied, bending down to Aera's level. "Say hi, baby", Aera just looked at her, her paci dropping from her mouth as she gurgled random noises to her. Armani cooed, giggling at the little girl's cuteness. "She looks a lot like you". "Yea, her uncles tell me all the time", he chuckled. "Are you here alone?" "Um yeah I am, it's my lunch break from my noon classes", he made a face of understanding, nodding at her words.
"We could sit with you if you want? Only if that's okay, we all like our personal space". "No no I don't mind, come sit", Mani offered. He smiled, sitting down across from her. He unbuckled Aera from her stroller, setting her down on his lap. "Ah, I feel like such an idiot. I never asked for your name", he admitted.
"Oh", she chuckled. "It's Armani, Kim Armani", she bowed in her seat out of respect. Taehyung taught her to bow to all people of his race considering she lived in a Korean community. "That's a beautiful name, Armani. I'm Jimin", he bowed in return. He never thought he would see this beautiful young woman again, but he was glad he got to.
They touched on different subjects once their food came, getting to know each other more. He even let her hold Aera. She kept messing with her necklace that sat comfortably on her cleavage. "That's a pretty necklace". "Oh, thank you. My brother got it for me as a birthday gift last year. I haven't taken it off since", she admitted. It had the first of her name on it, it being a pretty gold color.
Jimin noticed she wore a lot of Jewelry, but it only made her look prettier and stand out. "Oh goodness sweetie, you're very grabby", Armani laughed, seeing Aera had a tight grip on her sweater. "So what do you do for work? Do you work for a company or...? "Oh yes, I work for a marketing company not too far from here. But, I got off early today and thought about going out for the day since I'm free. She hasn't been outside in a while so I thought it was a good idea", he added.
"Ah, marketing does offer a good salary. I actually hope to be a caseworker or work on different murder cases. I would just have to get my degree first", she sighed. "Is it not going too well?" "No, not really. It's just hard having freedom of speech y'know. I do what I'm supposed to but end up getting walked all over. Maybe I'm too nice who knows", she shrugged.
"Well, even though I didn't go to college, I understand how that feels. Having your kindness used hurts, that's why you have to be more assertive. With people and yourself", Jimin advised.
That was probably the best advice Armani had ever received. She nodded at his words, finding them pretty wise. "You have such wise words, Mr.Park", she teased, laughing at his shyness. It was cute to see though.
"I try", he chuckled. Armani took a look at the time on her phone, seeing it read 12:30 PM. She had to be back on campus at 2 for her noon lectures. "Oh, I should get going. Can you tell the waiter I left my bill here? My lectures start soon", she asked, gently handing Aera back to him. "Yea of course, it was nice talking to you Armani", he grinned warmly. "Same to you, Jimin", and like that, she grabbed her things and left. Jimin sighed, bouncing Aera on his leg.
She made more gibberish noises towards him, squishing his face in a funny way. She giggled at how his face looked. He only chuckled, pulling out his phone to call someone. He waited until they finally picked up.
