"Alright Mikey, you take down the ones on the right and I take the ones down on the left. Donnie go do your nerd thing." Raph ordered his brothers as they stared down at the Purple Dragon clowns. Almost in perfect sync the three brothers took their place. Just as Raphs had ordered, his orange masked brother took down his side of the soildiers with his chucks'. The two brothers quickly made way for their overly smart brother who quickly took his place at the large mechanic that held some weird weapon, that was being used to send signals to the bottom of the ocean.

As Raphael and Michelangelo bought Donatello the time he so desperately needed, the number of enemies seemed to double. "Yo! Bro's we'd better get the shell outa here  once Donnie gets that thing!" Mikey yelled over the clash of metal.

"Mikey stop speaking Stupid!" Raph yelled back. The orange masked turtle just let out a dramatic scoff; he would have hit his red masked brother with a comeback but he currently was a little busy keeping his shell on his back.

"Got it!" Donnie yelled suddenly. The two brother looked over to their purple brother. Sure enough the brother held up the katana like weapon.

"Than let's get out of here!" Mikey called out, jumping over to Donatello's side. The three brothers were severely out numbered, yet Raph pushed on.

"Raphs come on let's go! We got what we came here for!" Donnie yelled out towards his older brother as he and his younger brother began retreating. Raph begrudgingly retreated, following his brothers into the shadows before disappearing into the sewers. "I can't wait to test this thing!" Dinner grinned looking the weapon over.

"It's just a sword Donnie." Raph grunted rolling his eyes as the three walked down the empty sewers.

"Leo would think differently." Donnie grumbled barely audible. Raph sent Donnie a vicious glare making Donnie look away as if he never said anything.

"Who cares what Leo would think. He's not here, now is he?" Raph snapped as he continued on.

"Oh come on, Leo is the best! He actually listened to me unlike you, Raphie." Mikey taunted. Raph stopped and spun around to face Mikey.

"Don't call me that." Raph hissed at the name.

"What's wrong with Raphie?" Mikey grinned tossing his arm around his brothers shoulders.

"Everything." Raph grumbled.

"Oh come on Raphie, don't be such a downer!" Mikey teased poking Raphs Plastron.

"Stop it." Raph spat whacking his younger brothers hand away. Just as Raph got his brother off of him the boys entered the lair. They all made their ways to do their own things, but where quickly stopped at the sound of not one, but two voices coming from Master Splinters room. The boys being the nosey turtles they are slipped up to the door and listened intensively. The voice were muffled but no problem as the sliding door swung open, making the three brothers jump to attention.

However, the one that emerged non of the boys had expected.

"LEO! You're back!" Mikey screamed with joy as he practically jumped onto his oldest brother. Donnie quickly joined Leo's side talking away almost immediately. Leo hugged both of his brothers before his attention turned to Raph who had his arms crossed as he refused to look Leo's way.

Leonardo broke away from his younger brothers before grabbing Raph by his shell and giving his brother a hug. "Boy have I missed you guys!" Leo grinned to Raph once he pulled away. "You're looking more buff than the last time I saw ya." Leo chuckled poking Raphs arms.

"Just been training to take your spot." Raph smiled back up at his brother. It was a harmless joke, even if Raph did want to be leader. He respected his elder brother more than he showed.

"Ohh, so nothings changed?" Leo teased back, "Don't think for a minute that I'd let you take it that easily." Leo joked nudging his brother. Leo seemed a tad off to Raphael, sure he was all jokes and calm like normal but something seemed wrong, almost like Leo was hiding something.

Was it fear? Anger? Nervousness? Raph couldn't tell. Leo was good at these kinds of things, he was the kind of guy who could get away with murder even by living his normal life. He could make anyone believe anything if he truely believed it himself, or at least the purpose of it. It also didn't help that Leo had been gone for so long. Maybe something happened to him in the jungle. He did have some new scars, exspecually the large new mark on his shell.

Raph decided he would slowly investigate his brother, make it seem like he wasn't trying to figure out what Leo was off about. Maybe he did murder someone, or someone's! No Leo was a reasonable turtle. He wouldn't kill unless it was a last resort, or a butterfly.

Eventually Mikey and Donatello took over making it so Raph could escape easily. Raph watched his brothers disappear into Donnie's lab chatting away, but there was something off, Leo and Master Splinter seemed slightly upset. Leo had stormed out of the masters room. Maybe something happened between the two. Raph felt way over his head, this kind of stuff was normally left to Donatello or Leonardo. Raph and Mikey were the ones to just sit back and go with it. Now by no means is Raphael dumb, he just didn't care to put in the work.

"What have you guys been up too?" Leo asked his younger brothers, as they led him to Donnie's lab.

"Well, I've been working on updating the Turtle Tank!" Donnie grinned up at his blue masked brother.

"And I've been helping Donnie with new ideas on how to improve it!" Mikey grinned as well.

"I'm glad you two are getting along." Leo smiled, "What about Raph? How has he been doing?" Leo asked hesatently. Raph had always been a bit of a hothead, and he always picked on his brothers; almost always going to far with it.

"He's been doing just fine, I think. I don't know you'd have to ask him." Donnie shrugged.

"No I mean with the whole team thing. He hasn't been giving you guys to much trouble, right?" Leo asked again.

"You mean besides the norm? Nah, after you left he kind of took place as leader." Mikey shrugged, crossing his arms.

"What about you Dee?" Leo asked turning towards Donatello.

"Yeah he's been the same, maybe a little less hot headed ever since he begun leading. I just hope he doesn't cause to many problems when you take back your place in the team." Donatello sighed leaning back against his table.

"Good, I'm glad he isn't chasing you guys down like a rabid dog." Leo smiled, he was relieved that his disappearance hadn't caused to many problems. "And as for the whole leader thing, I'm sure it'll be fine. It'll probably tick him off a bit, but hopefully he's more mature now than he was a year ago." Leo's younger brothers nodded in silent agreement.

"Leonardo, I'd like to talk some more." Splinter interrupted. Leo looked his master's way before inhaling sharply.

"Yes sir." Leo bowed at last and followed his master into Splinters room.
