chapter 6- Who's this jackass?

"Dude you are going to love this place!" Mikey grinned as three of the brothers led Leonardo and Usagi to a Pizza joint.

"Are you sure this is safe?" Leonardo whispered to his soft-shelled brother.

"Leo, you don't need to worry about it. These Yokai are just like the humans, but better." Donatello shrugged back.

With a questioning look Leo asked Donnie, "You trust the humans?"

"You know, there not that bad. I know we've had lots of problems with the Foot Clan and all, but not all people are bad." Donnie retorted shooting Leo a slightly anxious glance.

"Every human is the same. Once they see that you're different they'll see you as a monster, and only a monster." Leonardo hissed a little to loudly to the point the other brothers glanced back awkwardly.

"April didn't." Donnie hissed back, this time holding eye contact with Leo.

Leo was slightly taken-a-back by Donatello's directness, Donnie used to shy away from eye contact yet here he was standing up for himself.

"You guys coming or what?" Raph barked at the two brothers.

Leo's pride burned to hotly to make him pull away first. Thankfully Donatello had more self control and dropped the argument.

"You might trust humans, or these 'Yokai', but I don't. So don't expect me to go soft like the rest of y'all. I've seen my share." Leo muttered to Donnie as the two re joined the group.

Leo could see Donnie's Jaw clench then release within seconds. Leo knew he probably sounded like Raph but tried to shrug it off. He hoped Donnie knew what he was attually trying to put out.

"Sinor! It's good to see my favorite customer again. What has been holding you up?" A Cat with calico markings grinned towards Mikey.

"The family has been a little held up." Mikey grinned back, sharing the same excitement as the cat Yokai.

"Table for five please, Rustic." Donnie slid in.

"You got it, Don!" The cat, Rustic, purred. The cat Yokai led the five to a large booth with enough space for all of them.

"This place reminds me a lot of home." Usagi hummed as the boys found their seats. Leo sat on the end refusing to be trapped in, Usagi was sitting next to him.

Leo kept his eyes sharp as he constantly surveyed the restaurant. He had never been in one as a customer before, only when fighting the Foot Clean did he ever enter a restaurant. There was this Spider lady that gave Leo the chills dinning at the restaurant. In front of her sat a bull. Leo couldn't seem to pull away from her. Something about her scared him.

"Leo!" Michelangelo snapped as he crossed his arms looking impatient.

"Sorry." Leo apologized locking eyes with his younger brother. Finally managing to remover his eyes from the Spider lady.

"What do you want?" Mikey asked gesturing towards a Yokai standing in front of the table taking their orders. Leo had been so focused on the random lady he didn't even realize the waiter.

"Nothing." Leo waved slightly to emphasize his request. Leo's attention instantly went back to where the Spider lady was. But she had disappeared in such a short time! Her date was still there however.

She must've just gone to the restroom.

Leo refocused on the group sitting with him.

"He's new, I've never seen him before." Mikey commented gesturing so lightly it was hard to tell. Mikey had gestured towards the waiter that had taken their orders.

"Of course you know all the staff here." Raph scoffed.

"Unlike you, Raphy, I attually have a social life." Mikey shot back.

"You noticed her too?" Usagi suddenly whispered towards Leo as he couldn't keep himself from constantly glancing back at her seat.

Leo turned towards the Rabbit his brows slightly furrowed.

"She's giving this weird vibe." Usagi nodded towards the empty seat.

"That's what I was thinking." Leo nodded.

"Seems like she's back." Usagi hummed. Now the two were watching like hawks over the lady.

After a few minutes passed of pure silence from everyone at the table the lady got up, along with her date. Leo got the feeling to follow her.

"I have to follow her." Leo told Usagi getting up. He made a straight line going after the spider lady. Leo felt like he was almost being forced to follow her but he didn't feel the need to try and pull away. Just as he was within a arms length of the lady and waiter bumped into him.

"Watch it!" The waiter snapped. Leo didn't mind him much attention but did try to seem like he was. He watched the lady leave the restaurant, anxiety bubbled up into his throat all of the sudden before he refocused on reality.

"Do you have problem or something?" The waiter growled. Leo quickly scanned over the Yokai in front of him. It was a Manned Wolf.

"No." Leo snapped back accsadently. He was stressed and couldn't control his own tone. Who ever that lady was had one hell of a effect on the blue ninja.

"Excuse me?" The waiter huffed. His ears were pinned back as he glared into Leo's eyes.

"Hamato comeback to the booth." Usagi came up intervening with the two.

"Hold on Usagi." Leonardo waved. "You have one hell of a temper for a waiter." Leo hissed towards the maned wolf.

The waiters hand seemed to twitch towards his hip. Leo quickly identified that the Maned wolf was a fighter himself. Leonardo wanted a fight. He wanted to blow of steam, but Leo wouldn't fight a armless man. So Leo slid his Katanas out of their scabbards and handed them to a confused Usagi.

"There, now you can hit me." Leo smiled challenging. The waiter hesitated for a second before slipping off his fancy shirt.

"Can't have a fight with that thing on." The maned wolf grinned rolling his shoulders.

"Leonardo. This is unnecessary." Usagi huffed in annoyance.

Leo just shrugged it off before quickly dogging a attack from the wolf. There was no backing out now. Leonardo dodged another attack before sweeping his leg under the wolf causing him to roll into a grounded stance.

"This is going to be more fun then I thought." The waiter grinned in pleasure.

Withing seconds he stood up scooping a chair into the air before kicking it towards Leo. Leo brought his arms up blocking the flying chair from doing real damage. Usagi had fallen back standing by with the brothers. For a few minutes the two would throw a attack but the other would always dodge it.

Leo managed to land a attack on the wolf's back bringing the two to the ground. Customers were yelling by the point, obviously displeased with the fight.

Leo brought a quick fist down but the wolf managed to catch it before it made contact. After a little more wrestling the two got back to their feet.

"Why don't we speed this up?" The wolf suggested. "SHARK! Grab me my katanas." The wolf ordered a snake Yokia.

Leonardo mtioned Usgai forward. Usagi with a sigh comlied. soon enough both the muntant, and the yokai had their weapons.

The two paced for a second before a sprack seemed to light in the wolfs eyes. within seconds the wolf lunged at Leo, the two clashing blades. It was almsot as the two were dancing with the blades. Leo had to admit the wolf was good; but he was better. Leo easily brought the wolf to the ground as the two contined to cringe at the sound of metal running along metal.

The wolf kicked at Leo pushing Leo back enough to regain his own stance. Another spark lit but what happened next Leo had no way of expecting it. The wolf's blades lit on fire!
