Chapter 5- The Loss of a Soul

Leo was in the forest again, but this time it seemed different. It felt different. Leo drew his swords as he kept a eye out. Suddenly a jeep roared by. Leo found his target. The blue masked turtle chased the vehicle, using the trees to his advantage.

As Leo chased the Jeep he went to jump to the next tree but instead fell into cold water. As Leo rushed to get his head above the surface he noticed he was no longer in the forest. He was under the famous Golden Bridge. Suddenly Leo got eyes on the jeep once again.

Leo frantically forced his body forward to catch the jeep. Almost like Leo had super natural abilities Leo jumped onto the bride and continued to chase down the camouflaged Jeep.

As Leo seemed to struggle from hitting invisible obstacles his mind began to race. Due to Leo's overthinking he tripped on the edge of a building before tumbling to the concert. Before the turtle hit the cemet he was pulled back up and his feet hit the top of a shed.

For some reason Leo still pushed on. Leo quickly found the Jeep and a abandoned garage, much like the one the turtles had before they defeated the shredder.

Leo anxiously opened the door before drawing his katanas. As Leo entered the dark room he was attacked. Sai's clashed with his blades as Leo tried to redirect them. Raph stood behind the weapons with a killing stare.

"Raph what's going on here?" Leo asked frantically. But his voice was weak and wasn't heard. Raph dove for another attack but as Leo guarded against Raph he was attacked again by Donnie, his other brother.

Donnie was the sensible one. He would never attack Leo. At least not without a good reason.

Soon Mikey joined into the beating. Leo was easily disarmed. And soon he was on the ground as his brothers continued to hit him and slice his thick skin open. Leo got sick of the fighting so he persevered. He leaped for his swords before he sent his blade through the red turtles plastron. Raph stared at Leo blankly before the turtle slid off the blade as he fell backwards. Mikey and Donnie began to decompose and fell limp as maggots seemed to seep through their skin.

Leonardo's stomach was turning and his eyes watered. Something he forgot was possible. Leo began throwing up what ever was in his stomach as he stared at his brother who had blood surrounding them, dried and fresh.

Another figure soon arrived as well. It was a large rat. The turtles father and master.

"You have failed me Leonardo. You have turned on your family." Splinter began.

"Splinter please! Help me!" Leo begged.

"NO! YOU HAVE FAILED ME AS YOU DO EVERYTIME. I am afraid sending you off is no longer necessary. No one in this family needs you. We never have." Splinter rose his blades which were gifted to him by his master before his mutation. It was said the weapon of a ninja or a samurai was that warriors soul, it was a extension of the body. And yet here his father was. Ready to kill his eldest son.

Splinter kept eye contact with Leo for a bit before he stepped over Raph's lifeless body and said one thing, "you have lost your honor" and plunged the sharp blade into Leo's mutated body. Leo cried in pain from both his heart and nerves.

Leo sprung awake, his heart was racing and his eyes were watery. Leo tree off his blankets as he tried to cool his body. By the sounds of it he was the last one awake. Leo forced his body to reject any signs of weakness or falling apart before he exited his room.
