Chapter Two

"what are you up to Leonardo?" Raph whispered to himself as he watched his elder brother sneak out of the turtles lair. Raph began following his elder brother, making sure to keep a fair distance between the two. Raph new his blue brother was like a hawk when it came to sneaking around or being snuck up on.

Leo led Raph to the surface than ontop of a building. Raph didn't understand Leo's motive here. Maybe there wasn't even a motive, maybe Leo was just refreshing his memory. Maybe Leo was just out on a midnight stroll. Either way Raph decided to follow. Eventually Raph was led to Central Park, Leo stopped at the edge of a building examining the surroundings. Raph didn't understand on why Leo was in his extreme focus mode until he saw it himself, Foot ninjas were everywhere in the park. They looked like they were searching for something.

Raph decided this was the time to reveal himself to Leo. Just as Raph stood up from his spot behind a vent Leo spoke, "Raph stay down. Don't blow our cover."

"How did you-" Raph began shocked.

"Shh!"

Raph did as Leo said and slowly and carefully made his way to Leonardo. There, on top of the building, the two brothers studied the enemy ninjas. The foot were never very secretive when it came to searching for things but this time it seemed overly open. Many of the ninjas held some kind of tablet like device studying a graph or something. Neither of the brothers were close enough to tell.

"We should see what they're doing." Raph urged as he began to rise. Leo immediately stopped him and pushed him back down.

"So far they're not doing anything but standing there looking stupid. If no one is in danger than we don't need to put ourselves in danger." Leo practically lectured his younger brother.

After a few more minutes Raph got annoyed and jumped to his feet. Almost like it was on command the sky ripped open. Leo jumped to his feet following Raphs motions. Everyone stared at the blue rip in the night sky. After a few more moments, a figure came propelling out of the blue bottomless hole. Leo took action instantly. Raph took a bit longer as he was still in a state of shock.

Leo rushed to the falling figure, avoiding all the enemy ninjas I'm the process. Leo scaled a light post effortlessly, before leaping into the sky. The blue masked turtle snatched the falling figure out of the sky and onto the concrete ground, all while being unharmed. Raph quickly joined his brothers side as the quickly became stormed with Foot ninjas.

"We need to fall back! There is too many and we've got what they wanted." Leo ordered Raph jumping backwards before climbing a building the best he could while holding onto the figure. Raph grudgingly followed, Raph hated to fall back, but he knew his elder brother was right. The two turtles quickly made their escape into the sewers being unspotted.

Once the brothers were safe under the cover of the manhole they finally took a look at who, or what had fallen. In Leo's arms laid a unconscious Rabbit.. mutant?

"Let's get home." Leo nodded towards Raph. The two turtles rushed to their underground home before barging into Donnie's room.

"Hey nerd! Wake up we need you!" Raph yelled at Donnie, scaring the purple turtle awake.

"Be nice to your brother." Leo scolded Raph.

"That was nice." Raph grinned back before leaving.

Donnie scrambled to Leo's side to examine the rabbit. "It's a Yokai!" Donnie exclaimed.

"A what?" Leo asked puzzled.

"You weren't here for that whole world Changing information." Donnie chuckled. "Let's get him to my lab so I can check him over."
