After what felt like hours, Otto's bus had finally slowed to his destination, "Now stopping at AutoTech Incorporated!" beamed the loud speakers, Otto grabbed his bag, swiftly tossed it over his shoulder, and got off the train. As Otto walked out the train station and to his building, he looked around, taking in the beautiful scenery. Otto had always admired his job, working for one of the biggest corporations in the world, working towards the future of humanity, it always made him feel unordinary. Otto reached the entrance of the building and opened up the doors, the sweet sweet scented air had blessed his nose as the doors shut behind him.

"Morning Otto!" called out Alan

"Morning Alan."

"Better hurry on, before Cone notices you're late again."

"yeah you're right I should get going, later"

"see ya 'round."

Otto turned the corner and paced towards the elevator, eager to get to his section. Otto entered the elevator and promptly entered his code, which had swiftly shot the elevator down to his section, as he waiting anxiously he checked the time, "9:45, fucking hell.." Otto cursed to himself. The doors opened and Otto walked out into the section, walking through the halls of all the other departments and finally stopping to his. He threw his hand over the hand recognizer and walked in

"About time Otto, I would've finished this up all by myself."

"Thanks for waiting for me Jen."

"yeah yeah no problem."

Otto threw his bag over to his desk and walked over to Jen

"So, what's it looking like?"

"The comprehension system is working, the voice automation is still online, and I've got the joint movement's down "

"So basically you yourself has made no progress?"

"Shut the hell up, I'm trying!"

"What've you been doing for half an hour?"

"what've YOU been doing for half an hour?"

"Oh shut up."

Otto walked over to his computer and immediately got to work, Trying to get the android to move on it's own whilst Jen tinkered with it's joints. As Jen twisted the knee joint the android's leg shot up, startling her. "Oh shit!" Jen cursed out, "guess it doesn't like to be touched" Otto  laughed, Otto wrote a few sections of code and commanded the android to stand up, which it promptly did. "Damn that was fast!" Jen commented, "Thanks, I try" Otto responded, as the android arose from its pedestal it looked at its hands, intrigued in itself.

"Welcome to the world.. uh.." Jen quickly stopped, trying to think of a name for the android

"How about Sentient? Sound pretty cool to me." Otto chimed in

"That's got to be the corniest name I've heard in all of my years working here Otto."

"We've only been here for a year Jen."

 "Whatever.."

Otto had also turned on it's self-examination feature, so it was to be expected. Otto got up from his seat walked over to the android, waving to it, It paused for a moment, moving it's finger individually, but then curiously waved back, the android then continued to examine itself. Jen's face filled with excitement as she eagerly ran towards her desk, "Ill get started on the test!" Jen practically shouted as she sat down, opened up her data sheet, and checking her variety in test modules for the android. Jen's love for computers and androids was apparent, what might've seemed embarrassing to others wasn't for Jen, she expressed herself everyday in their section, and truly appreciated Otto's company when they worked together, Otto never minded either. After all, if Otto was faced with his ambitions and dreams in his hands, he would certainly react the same way. Otto sat down at his desk as he watched Jen fiddle with everything the android could do, he wheeled his chair over to the fridge, grabbed a cola, and returned back to his desk, cracking it open and continued to watch Jen work.
