Unexpected change

Milky Way had called me to inform me that the Star summit was tomorrow. After the call ended I went back worried. "What's wrong, Sun?" Mercury asked. I let out a sigh before telling them the news.

"Um.. At least it's just you going. They aren't coming here.." Earth said. I nodded still worried. I spent the entire night worrying about tomorrow. 'I can't let him find out about V.. He might kill her.' I thought to myself.

It was now the next morning. I got ready for the meeting. I just finished getting ready when V peeked through the door.

"Hey V" I greeted her. She seemed uneasy. "Hey.." I invited her in as I still had time before I had to leave. I used this time to assure V that she will be safe. She looked at me blankly like she had no clue what I was talking about.

"Ok.. but that was not what I was worried about. I was more worried about you than me, "she said. I raised my eyebrow at her. "What? I'll be fine V" I said to her. She nodded and it was time for me to leave.

I bid my farewells to everyone and left for the galaxy centre. I saw everyone was there and greeted my friends Proxima Centauri, Alpha Centauri A and B. We chatted for a bit before Milky Way came.

The meeting went as normal but I sensed something would go wrong. "Anyways..Sun. I heard there have been some.. interesting things going on with you. Care to share?" Milky Way said.

"Oh what do you mean? Everything had been normal for me" I said. 'Shit does he know' Everyone looked at me and then back at Milky Way. "Well then. Who is she?" He said while pointing somewhere.

Everyone looked to where he pointed and to my horror. It was V. She was tied up and had a tape over her mouth. Everyone glared at me while Milky Way walked over to me.

"Not only do you allow the humans to explore the galaxy but now there is one WHO CAN SEE US!" He yelled at me. I could easily tell he would do something. He walked over to me.

"Do I have to remind you that humans can end up killing the planets?! You already know Earth's condition! If you won't kill them like I ask you to, I'll do it myself." He said before turning to V.

Milky Way summoned a deadly burst of energy and walked over to V. She looked terrified. Before he shot the burst at V I summoned a fireball and launched at him knocking him away from V.

Everyone looked at me in surprise. They all knew I hate humans but now I'm defending one. I also just broke a law of the Universe. Milky Way glared at me. "So your defending humans now?!" He shouted.

He stood up and walked over to me. "I see you're asking for the consequences of breaking the laws of the universe" He said in a deep, threatening voice. He used his abilities to lift me in the air and start choking me to death.

I glanced over at V to see she wasn't there anymore. 'She escaped!' Milky Way continued to choke me and I almost ran out of oxygen when..

He dropped me suddenly and fell to the ground. I gasped for air and looked up to see V behind Milky Way. Holding a bloody sword with the same expression she had with Mars yesterday.

She was glitching in and out. I saw a stab wound in Milky Way's stomach. He clenched the wound squinting in pain. "Don't hurt him." V said threateningly.

Milky Way quickly turned around to face her. He was towering over her but V easily looked more threatening. She calmed down and lowered her sword.

"How about we strike a deal? You and me. One vs one. If I win you leave Sun and the solar system alone. If you win then..well you can kill me." She said,

I looked at her. Milky Way considered it and soon accepted. 'No... no No NO!' They set a time and place. The Star Summit was dismissed and on the way back I went off on V.

"HAVE YOU GONE MAD V?! YOUR A HUMAN AND HE IS A BLACK HOLE! A SUPER MASSIVE BLACK HOLE!" I continued to convince her otherwise in the duel. She didn't change her mind.

When we got home we found the others looking for V. As soon as they saw her Neptune instantly ran over and hugged her. He was clearly worried.

I told them what happened and they tried to convince V otherwise as well but still to no avail. Neptune let out a sigh. "At least we will help you prepare." He said. We nodded and after an hour we went outside.
