Nightmare

My POV

●I stood between the others and Milky Way. I was bruised and cut all over my body. Blood trickling down the side of my head. I was shaking. The pain was unbearable. Even with the power I held it seemed impossible for me to beat him.

Earth shouted at me to get out of the way. The others were covered in injuries. They looked like if they took one more hit they'd not make it.

The super massive black hole in front of me kicked me into the wall. I smashed into the wall hard. A sharp pain spread through my body as I clenched my chest. I was on one knee. I looked up and saw a bright light coming right at me. I shut my eyes tight and got ready for the hit while I heard the others yell "NO!"●

I shot up. I was breathing heavily and was sweating hard. I tried to calm myself but couldn't. 'It's not real.. it's not real V.. Calm down..' I tried telling myself but to no avail. I hugged my knees and started crying. I didn't want to die. I didn't want the others to get hurt.

"V...?" I heard Earth's voice call from the door. I glanced over and saw her walking towards me. I tried to wipe the tears away but she grabbed my hand and stopped me.

"Don't V.. What's wrong?" She asked. I didn't want to admit I had a nightmare. She'd probably just say "it's just a dream" and "it won't hurt you so don't be scared about these silly things".

Earth's POV

I pulled V in for a hug. She seemed surprised at the action but soon hugged back. She cried on my shoulder and I gently stroked her hair. "N-Nightmare.." She managed to mutter out.

Her flower was a mix of purple and blue. Sadness and fear. I comforted her the best I could and she calmed down soon. "Now.. Tell me what happened in the nightmare" I said. She told me what happened.

I hugged her tight. I continued stroking her hair slowly and soon she fell asleep again. 'She was surprised when I hugged her.. Poor kid probably has to deal with her nightmares alone..' I felt bad for V. She was still a kid after all.

I didn't move a single muscle, afraid of waking her up. I pulled the blanket over her and watched her sleep peacefully.
