Father figures

My POV

The next morning, I woke up to Pluto gently shaking me. "Hey get up starshine, it's 9am" I sat up and rubbed my eyes. He smiled and helped me get ready by brushing my hair.

We went to the living room where we saw the others waiting. I went over and sat down next to Neptune like every morning since I came. I felt Pluto's glare at Neptune which sent a chill down my spine.

'He sure is protective.. ' I thought to myself. Pluto had always been like a protective father to me. And now Neptune is like a supportive father to me. 'Wait... oh no... I might have started a rivalry between my two father figures-'

Throughout the day, wherever I was with one of them the other would give them a cold glare. Eventually it was just the 3 of us. We were in my room and I was just looking through the closet looking for my hairband.

"So V.. How's Ardonia going?" Pluto asked.

"Well we had the Inverted War end last year in March and then we had the Shadow War 2 months later but that ended in September and finally we had to deal with someone named Cyrus Shania from my new organisation, the Interverse but now he is banished" I explained.

Pluto seemed surprised at all the new things that happened in the Ardonian Multiverse. The events haven't really affected the realm they were in. I found my hairband and tied my hair.

As though he wanted to annoy me, Neptune picked me up. "Neptune put me down!" I exclaimed. The 2 males laughed. "No~ It's just fun teasing you, moonlight" I pouted and muttered "Fk you.."

Both their moods instantly turned serious and Pluto walked over to us. "Who taught you that?" He asked sternly. I laughed a bit nervously at their stern looks. "Well.. my ex best friend.. but I don't say it much!" I tried to stop them from doing anything.

Pluto grew a bit suspicious of her. "What else do they do?" He asked. Neptune raised an eyebrow at him. "Well she did say to KMS twice.. But those never really bothered me" I said. Both of them looked at me.

Neptune gritted his teeth. "If I ever see her she is dead." He said. I gulped and hugged them both. They hugged back. I felt safe with the two. Well I felt safe with the others as well but the two felt like fathers to me.

Pluto's POV:

It was so long since I last hugged V like this. She was so small back then but how she is around my height. It had only been 6 years but it felt like forever. As soon as I heard about the duel I immediately came over to see her and the others.

Neptune.. He looked close to V. Like I was. Got to admit I felt jealous when V was with him. She was like my kid. I didn't want him to take her from me but now seeing this I wasn't so worried.

We broke the hug and V flopped onto the bed. I sat down next to her and so did Neptune. We talked and got along well.

~ Time skip ~

It was now dinner time. We were all eating our food when V leaned forward to grab the glass of water. She couldn't reach the water so Neptune passed to her. "Thanks papa," She said. Uranus almost choked on his food while everyone else turned to her.

V went red in embarrassment and Nep and I laughed. "Ahhh! Sorry I didn't mean to say that!!" She covered her face and looked away. "It's fine, I don't care. You can call me that if you want" Neptune simply smiled. He was clearly happy she called him that.

That sting of jealousy was still in my heart. "Pluto is jealous~" Earth said laughing. V turned and hugged me. "Nooo!! Don't be jealous! You're like my dad too! How about this I'll call Neptune Papa and you dad!" She said, I nodded and smiled happily.

"Damn how is the mum then?" Sun asked sarcastically. V smiled innocently and said, "Oh that would be Earth." Earth smiled. 'Of course it's Earth' I thought to myself.

"Can I have some water- I might actually choke!" Uranus said. V gave him the water and once we were done eating we went to our rooms.

Earth's POV

Pluto, Neptune and I knocked on V's door and she welcomed us in. We sat on the bed. "Hmm mama, Papa, dad, can we play truth or dare?" V asked. We nodded and started the game.

"Starshine, truth or dare?" Pluto asked.

"Truth!" V said.

"Do you like anyone?" He asked her.

"I- No! Dad, I'm turning 13 this year!" She flung her arms in the air. Pluto laughed and nodded. "Hmm Mama! T or D?" V asked me after she calmed down. I picked Truth.

"Hmm , who is your crush/es if you have any?" She asked. I turned red. The 2 males in the room raised their eyebrows at me.

I muttered out, "they both are in this room..."
