Outside of Coda village
"Sir, permission to make first contact with the locals?" Kurokawa asked her commanding officer
"Permission granted. Itami, Kurata, get your lazy asses up here, now! I'm giving you two and Sgt Kurokawa the green light to make first contact. Itami and Kurata, no slacking off." Alejandro Gonzales said
"Sir yes sir." All three of them replied
Kurokawa sees a local kid and smiles at him, Kurokawa sees the mother and waves at her. Kurokawa gives the signal for Itami and Kurata to show themselves with Captain Gonzales and some of his men following behind and they give some gifts to the locals before leaving
"The sky is so blue" Itami said
"There are places like these in Palawan" Captain Gonzales replied
"I imagine dragons and fairies flying around. Everyone we've run into so far has been human. What a bummer" Kurata said
"Dont be sad Kurata, I'm sure you will see them once we explore more." Ramirez said trying to keep Kurata's morale up
"you really wanna see some Cat girls huh?" Itami asked Kurata
"A cat girl, a voluptuous sorceress, whatever." Kurata said
Kurata gives a short glance to Itami and Gonzales
"What about you two? What's your deal, Commanders?" Kurata asked
Itami and Gonzales give each other a glare and smirk as Gonzales turns on the radio for the whole company to listen
"We prefer real women rather than animated ones that teens do some 'explict' stuff with." Itami and Gonzales both said
Kurata shuts up and the rest of the company chuckle

"Kurata, take a right at the stream right here and follow it. We should arrive at the forrest that the Coda village chief was talking about." Staff Sargeant Bautista said
(SSGT Bautista is an old soldier that participated in the 2017 battle of Marawi and beyond, he got the nickname Tito or Uncle in english from the soldiers he trained, and one of those soldiers is future Captain Alejandro Gonzales)
"Roger that." Kurata replied
The lead vehicle turns right and follows the stream
"It's a stream, just like he said." Itami said
"We're all counting on you, Tito." Captain Gonzales said
"In that case, I'd like to provide my opinion, Captain Gonzales. Lets set up camp in front of the forest" SSGT Bautista said
"Roger that" Gonzales replied
"Should we go straight?" Kurata asked
"Of course, we are straight men after all." Itami joked
