Detention

Y/n pov:

After all of the students were escorted back to the school, the first thing I did was busying myself with taking a long shower, before changing into comfortable clothes. I watched myself in the mirror adjusting my shirt a bit, before making my way to Weems' office.

Due to my lack of care for knocking, I walked straight in, finding the overworked woman behind her desk, still focused with her work. „You said appropriate time" I stated, my tone carrying pure exasperation. „No, you said that" She retorted, not daring to look up from her work.

„Larissa go to sleep" Rolling my eyes, I crossed my arms over my chest. „Do you want detention miss L/n?" I caught her furrowing her brows, whilst still keeping her eyes down. „Do you want eyebags miss Weems?" I copied her, my voice taking a snappy tone towards her.

Her eyes darted to me. „Detention with Thornhill" I grinned and walked over to her desk, leaning my front slightly against it. „Thank you Rissa, but still go to sleep. Please" She sighed and put her papers to the side, rubbing her temple. „Fine" The chair she was on was being pushed back and she stood up, making her way to her conjoined bedroom.

„What ar-" She glared at me confused, both at being cut off and me joining her. „Shut up" I slid under the covers next to her and closed my eyes, letting her cuddle me.

I woke up alone in bed, because Larissa was already onto overworking herself again. Sighing, I swung my legs over the edge of the bed, getting up and walking out. "Morning" I opened the door, smiling at her.

"Morning, darling" She didn't lift her head, being too focused on her boring work. "I'm gonna head off to class, have a good day working and don't overdo it" I announced as I made my way to the door. "You too and don't forget your detention at 1pm" She said, holding a subtle smirk."I won't" Grinning, I shut the door and went to fencing class.

Wednesday was already there when I arrived so we fought together. Since she came to the school, or more like since I came back, it became a habit of ours to always fight without mask and rules, as we weirdly enjoyed making the other bleed. We had a good fight, but this time I lost and she cut my lip. Blood started dripping down, "Good fight Wends" I said, a small smirk on my wounded lip. „I know" The corner of her mouth creeped up as well, when I grabbed myself a tissue to clean the blood off.

I had just finished the rest of my classes when my alarm went off, reminding me of my detention. „Gotta go Enid, I got detention" I said, packing up my things. "What did you do?" She questioned, helping me. "Bothering our headmistress with sleep" I laughed out, saying my goodbyes and leaving.

My hands pushed the door of the greenhouse open, Mary watering the plants unknowingly. „Yo Mary, I got detention" I called to gain her attention. She turned around and looked at me bewildered. „Why? Did you bully another teacher" She let out a little laugh and turned back around. „No because I told our principal to go to sleep" She laughed again.

My legs carried me to her and I rested my arms on her waist. She turned around and gave me a kiss on the forehead, looking down at me. „What happened to your lip?" She asked a bit worried „Oh it's nothing, I lost in fencing that's all" I shrugged it off, forgetting that the woman in front of me was always too worried about everything. „Let me take care of it"

„No, Mary, it's really just a little cut" She sighed and handed me the watering can, hopefully letting go of the topic. „Here" I smiled and took it from her as we started watering the plants together. „Got plants for later?" She broke the silence.

„Yeah I'm actually meeting up with Xavier later at the weathervane" I informed her. „Ah okay, yeah I'm stopping by the weathervane later too real quick" I gave her thumbs up and put the watering can aside. "I gotta go now, byee" I waved and left the room before she could say anything.

I was sitting with Xavier at the weathervane and we talked and laughed much. We were too focused on laughing that we didn't really noticed the bell ring at the door. Marilyn walked in the café staring at me and Xavier.

She went up to us with an unpleased look on her face „Hello Y/n and Xavier" She greeted us in a monotone voice. „Hello miss Thornhill" We both said „May I sit with you until my order is done?" I nodded and pat the side next to me, for her to sit. „What are you talking about" She asked „Oh we were just talking about how Y/n one time, fought with a teacher because he was mean to Enid" She looked at me and I nodded „He got fired" I said with a proud look.

„And all because he was mean to your love" He added. I gave Xavier a ‚Shut up' look because our teacher still sat on the same table. „What do you mean ‚her love'?" Thornhill asked „Y/n had a majorrrr crush on Enid" He laughed out „Xavier stop it" I heard Marilyn chuckle quietly, so I decided to embarrass him as well.

„Yeah and I remember, you were sooo jealous" I laughed out „I still am" He said and I stopped laughing. I could feel Marilyns fingers creep up my thigh and her hand grabbing it harshly. She stroked up and down and I tried to not turn into a tomato „I'm going outside real quick someones calling me" Xavier said as he went out.

„What was that for?" I asked Marilyn. „He's clearly in love with you and I do not tolerate that" I find it cute that she confessed that, so I decided to tease her about it „But why not, you're my teacher"

„Mhm and that's exactly why I don't want you meeting up anymore" She said. „I don't care what you want me to do Marilyn I will still be meeting him" She was so mad at this point „Mary I know you're jealous but we've been friends since we both got here first and that's a long time. I promise you I'm not into him and I never will be, I am a lesbian" I pulled her in a long kiss „Okay I believe you, now I gotta go" I smiled at her and waved.

Time skip

„Y/n it was again really nice with you" Xavier said to me. We were standing in the hallway, alone, it was already evening. „I know" I simply said „You know I always admired your strong personality Y/n" He took my hand in his and I looked at him confused "I know we both want this" With that he kissed me, but I immediately pulled away "WTF XAVIER NO I DONT WANT THAT IM A LESBIAN" I screamed at him.

Mary pov:
"WTF XAVIER NO I DONT WANT THIS IM A LESBIAN" I heard Y/n scream. I quickly rushed out of my dorm and found them both in the hallway "What are you talking about? I know you like me too" He said as he took her hand "KEEP UR HANDS OFF ME" She slapped his hand away and slapped him across the face.

"I SWEAR TO GOD Y/N ONE DAY YOU'LL LIKE ME. I'LL DO ANYTHING" He yelled at her while he held his cheek in pain. "XAVIER TO YOUR DORM RIGHT NOW" They both turned their heads at my comment and Y/n smiled while Xavier scoffed and walked away. She walked in my direction and sprung in my arms "Are you okay?" I asked her as I carried her inside my room "Yes but he kissed me" That hit hard. I kind of knew but still, I wasn't sure. "I'm sorry honey, I'll make sure he gets consequences" We both laid in my bed and I stroked her hair until we both fell asleep.

I absolutely hate this chapter, as well the following ones and I have absolute writers block but I'll try to update more often now
