The Aura Warrior of Acmetropolis

Chapter 7

Today marked the one-year anniversary of the meteor strike that hit Earth, everyone of Acmetropolis was gathered in the park where the mayor was giving a speech. 

Mayor: Which is why we are gathered here on this day, the one-year anniversary of the meteor's impact, adjusting to the strange new world has been difficult for all of us. 

Slam was starting to fall asleep to Lexi woke him up with a gentle elbow jab. 

Slam: Not the face. 

Mayor: Fortunately, we had had help from six or rather seven extraordinary individuals who have watched over and protected us, and now to accept this small token of our appreciation. 

Duck wanted to run over and grab the reward, but Austin was letting out a little of his killing instinct making Duck freeze in his tracks. 

Mayor: The leader of the Loonatics Ace Bunny.   

Ace then walked up to the mayor and collected the reward. 

Ace: Thank you very much mayor good thing it's not every day destruction rains down...upon us. 

Everyone looked up to see something coming down from the sky. 

Lexi: Great a hailstorm without my umbrella. 

Tech held out his hand to collect some of the stuff that was falling. 

Tech: This isn't hail these are rock pellets, there not even from this planet, its a meteor shower. 

The citizens of the city started to scream as the pellets started to hit them. 

Ace: And I don't think an umbrella is going to help. 

Austin then fired an aura sphere at an incoming meteor as he searched for something in his pocket dimension when he found what he was looking for he pulled his hand out to reveal the object was a prism of some kind. 

 Austin after he made five clones with his aura: Ace, Lexi, and Tech follow my lead. 

The real Austin then threw the prism in the sky, and it split into multiple prisms the real Austin used his laser vision and one of his clones used its mind blast attack on the prisms creating a grid another clone used Magnesium to move the prisms around changing the grid around to destroy more meteors. 

Tech: I get it now, Ace and Lexi aim your powers at the prims Austin is using them to create a grid to destroy any incoming rock pellets, I'll use my powers to help move the grid around to prevent more pellets from falling down on the citizens. 

Ace: Got it Tech. 

Ace, Lexi, and Tech then used their powers to help with the grid. 

Austin: Slam follow my clones lead and set your spin cycle on suction even with the grid up some meteors might get through, Rev follow my clone with super speed and get those people to shelter, and Duck you do the same with my clone that can teleport. 

Duck: You're not the leader solider boy. 

 Ace: No but I am, and I telling you to follow with Austin's plan. 

Duck: Fine 

After what seemed like hours the storm stopped, and the team went back to the tower. 

Ace: Alright Tech time to make with the big words. 

Tech: The meteor that hit Acmetropolis a year ago was only a trial run, this one is five hundred times size of the original. 

Ace: Kind of makes you miss the good old days huh.
