"So this is the secret you are talking about?"

I was a bit startled when we entered the Tagaytay rest house. Para kasing may event na magaganap rito dahil sa set-up.

The backyard was filled with fairy lights. There's even a table set at the side of the pool. Maganda itong tignan lalo't sinamahan pa ng view ng horizon ng dagat.

We haven't really hang-out in here dahil lagi kami sa sala kung nasaan ang mga instruments kapag nagsusulat ng kanta.

"Surprised?

"Not really, but this is not bad," kunwaring walang pakialam na saad ko. "What's up?"

"You can't even remember our monthsary," natatawang saad nito, disappointed kuno.

"Do we have monthsary? Why don't we celebrate it the past months?" mahinang tanong ko. Ang cool ata namin eh, wala man lang celebration every month.

"Molla, you never remember it anyway." Natawa naman ako sa sinabi niya. Tama nga naman. I'm not really good at these things. "We've never been in a proper date since we got back together."

"This isn't a date, Jae," I pointed out. He pulled out a chair for me. "Thanks."

"This is a date, whether you like it or not."

"Ay, desisyon ka beh?"

"We'll be busy next month. Do you want to take a day or even a week off? Let's go abroad."

"I would like that. You can also film for your vlog," I answered habang inaamoy ang wine. It smells very... alcoholic. LOL.

"I told you I want a vacation."

"You won't even notice the camera, love," pangungumbinsi ko. Sayang naman kasi, siya pang maico-content. Low budget din naman kami. "When did you prepare this, by the way?" takhang tanong ko.

Mukha namang mamahalin ang pagkain, hindi deliveries. Imposible rin namang siya ang nag-asikaso, his schedule was packed.

"That's not important. Do you like it?"

"I loved it, of course. Thanks for the effort." He smiled and kissed the back of my palm. It was indeed cheesy but I liked it anyway. We never had the time like this ever since everything happened. Napaka-busy naming pareho. It's nice being with him.

"Parang trip ko mag-swimming," maya-maya'y sabi ko. Maga-alas onse na pero hindi pa rin kami tinatamaan ng antok. Partida ay galing pa kami kanina sa premiere. Nakapagtatakang wala pa sa amin ang nana-knock out.

Agad akong pumasok sa loob para magpalit ng damit. I wore a two-piece red bikini. Hindi ko alam na magagamit ko rin pala itong regalo sa akin ni cassandra. Hindi naman kasi ako mahilig mag-swimming. Hindi nga ako marunong eh.

"Can you tie my hair?" I asked him. Tahimik lamang siyang nakaupo sa gilid ng pool, mukhang may iniisip. Agad rin naman niyang sinunod ang utos ko. "May iniisip ka ba? Is there a problem?" I asked with a worried face.

"Nothing, I am just thinking if we should get married," seryosong sabi nito habang sinusuklay ang buhok ko gamit ang kaniyang daliri.

"Ya! Why would you think of that? It's still early for that."

"Is it? I guess I'm just afraid that past will repeat itself."

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want to be away from you, Rhyll. Not again."

"Who said I'll be away? Mags-swimming lang naman ako," natatawang biro ko.

"Ga ga ga," nakangiting pagtataboy niya sa akin nang matapos ipitan ang buhok ko. I kissed him briefly before jumping in the water.
