Over the week, the two of them developed from random compliments, suggestions and encouragements to having fully-invested conversations, and maybe this wasn't so bad either.
"Did anybody tell her that intimacy is my love language?" Nicky groaned for the millionth time that day. "I'm guessing your date went well. Give me details" Jungkook said as he effortlessly did his pull-ups as Ryle kept a count.
"We went to Starbucks yesterday. When I went forward to pay she intercepted and went like, "I got this honey" and I tried so hard not to blush. She gives of the rich CEO vibes. Sugar daddy types but, a gentler version though. And all along I knew that it was just friendly but, my heart kept telling me it was a date and I hope she didn't notice me blushing all the while" Nicky narrated excitedly. "Cute" Jungkook smiled. "Except for the fact that she really is rich"Ryle reminded.
"Richer than you?" Jungkook asked. "She is what you would call, a Chaebol heir" Ryle answered."Born rich" Jungkook huffed. "Yeah but, she is like Rapunzel. Rich but, locked away" Nicky sighed. Jungkook arched an eyebrow. "Her family dragged her here all the way from India when she was younger. They don't let her out. She is trained and home-tutored there. Her family is rich but, crazy." Nicky summarized.
"Why lock her up though?" Jungkook asked to which she shrugged. "What if she did something wrong in the past and that is why they're doing this?" Ryle wondered out loud. "I doubt she would even hurt a fly honestly. What could she even do that could be considered so, in the wrong?" Jungkook added. "Murder. I was accused of murder" Alesha traipsed in with a small duffel bag slung over her shoulder.
The three curious expressions turned into aghast ones. "I didn't do it. They just wanted somebody to take the blame" she cleared placing the bag to a side before taking off her jacket. "We didn't mean to-" Ryle tried to say before she put up a hand stopping him midway. "It's fine. I know it wasn't ill-intended. You're all I have anyways so, it wouldn't really matter" she shrugged it off.
"What do you mean?" Jungkook asked letting go of the pole. She cocked an eyebrow. "All you have?" he reminded. "I've never had any friends. You guys are the only ones" she answered. "None?" Nicky asked. "None" she affirmed.
"Start with your warm-up's. I'll be there soon" Ryle broke the silence. "I might have had friends before. Not really sure of it though" she said before moving on. "You know what? To hell with the work outs. Let's grab some food and get to know each other" Jungkook announced. "My treat" he added. "If they measure my calories and it's the same or more, then they'll probably shift me away" she said bending to get to her toes. "Your family is crazy" Nicky commented gruffly. "Happy realization sweetheart"
"What will you even do when you grow up?" Ryle questioned. "Look after the company. Even though I don't want to and then get married to my fiance" she answered straining herself. "Fiance?" Nicky asked in a low voice. "My parents chose him for me. I don't even know him" she shrugged. "What company?" Jungkook asked thoughtfully.
"In case you skipped over the part, my family owns a huge ass company. AI technology and stuff. They've been here for centuries" she answered. "Don't tell me you're from..." Jungkook trailed off. "Bingo"
"You're joking right?" Jungkook repeated. "No, I'm Alesha" she joked. "She is saying the truth" Nicky scratched her head. "Yeah, wait, how would you know?" Alesha questioned. "You said it. Yesterday" Nicky reminded as Alesha went deep into thought. "Never mind. Plank two minutes. Now" Ryle ordered.
