"Oh. About that. There was a guy dressed as one of my people who helped me to get out of the castle. And then he appeared even when I was almost caught at the building. He helped me all the time but I couldn't nab him as I was more focused on running away" she explained. "What building?"
"I ran away from home and we found a place to stay temporarily. They appeared there as well. We had to run away and I ran to the gym. The day you brought me here" she elaborated. "I thought you came straight from your parents home" Jungkook exclaimed. "No that was my last resort. I never learned how to rely on someone. Until you guys showed up of course. And are Nicky and Ryle still out of contact?"
"Smooth way of covering up that you're embarrassed " Taehyung spoke up. "That's not a very nice thing to say" Jimin pointed out. "So your guess is that the guy you spoke to today, was the guy that helped you out of the castle?" Jungkook interrupted. "Yes. It did sound like him."
"Do you have a recording...of his voice? You could ask ghost about him. It isn't the best option but, you could try" Namjoon suggested. "Can you send him the recording if I give you a copy?" Alexa asked. "Gladly"
"Doesn't the voice sound somehow familiar though?" Yoongi arched his neck slightly as he massaged his stiff neck. "Familiar as in? Does it make you think of somebody?" Her eyes lit up as she asked. "I don't exactly remember from where or who but, I'm sure I've heard of it" Yoongi shrugged. "Oh. Okay"
"I sent it to you. Can you forward it to him? And can I call ghost again? And it's best if you guys stay away from ghost. It's not safe for you guys" she blabbered as she tapped on her phone. "Why?" Namjoon asked. "If Ghost is safe even after knowing about the camp, he's not as simple as he may seem. And if he holds any grudge against any of you, it would be very easy to wipe you guys out. Even simpler than wiping away an unknown person"
"Huh? Murder? How can someone get away with that?" Taehyung asked. "I should be very concerned about your curiosity but, I'll let it slide." Namjoon looked completely done. "Your own people will cover it up actually. Well, you're idols, your own company wouldn't let it out if you do get murdered. It would be bad for business y'know? "
"Our company wouldn't do that" Taehyung refuted with confidence. "The more influential the idol, the better it is to cover it up or else it could lead to the downfall of every person in that company. You don't know much about PR or business management, do you?"
"But why? Like how would it lead to a downfall? It makes no sense." Jungkook asked. "Your fans will try to investigate. Literally everybody will try to look into it. Eventually the fandom will end up losing sleep over it, and turn toxic from the inside. The company will be blamed for not protecting you well enough. Everything connected to the idol, including the company will be evaded." Alexa explained.
The members were left awestruck.
"I'd prefer it if you don't traumatize the members" Namjoon sighed.
