Dear Mike,

Thank you for the letter! My mom has been looking for a job and has found one that interests her. There is one problem though, she needs the phone for it, all the time. Hopefully they will give her a work phone for it. El isn't doing too well without her powers but I hope she doesn't embarrass herself when we start school. Speaking of which, we both start school in a week. I normally wouldn't care but I want to make a good impression on the other students by wearing something nice, so they don't call me gay. Before this letter gets there I'll call you asking what I should wear. I'm excited though.
