"i can't lose him again"

"go away"

(will's pov)

"go away!" i screamed 

"will" the shadowy monster whispered.

"please, go away."

i woke up in a cold sweat. the mind flayer was gone. right? i should go for a walk to stop thinking about this. i changed out of my sweaty clothes. i didn't have my own clothes so i changed into mikes, he won't mind right? these are probably too small for him anyways. i looked over to mike who was sleeping next to me. i felt my cheeks heat up. had we really been sleeping next to each other? i definitely needed that walk.

i left the wheelers house and walked past all the other surviving houses in the neighborhood i walked over to the playground nearby the elementary school where me and mike first met, i walked over to the swings there already was a boy there, he looked like a middle schooler. 

"hey what are you doing here so early in the morning?" i said rushing over to the boy.

"i could ask you the same" the boy said.

"fair"

"i was here to get my mind off of what's going on around here."

"same"

"well, i might as well introduce myself. my names ollie and i lost my dad due to the 'earthquake'. but i've been trying to tell everyone earthquakes don't just split your fathers head in half, but nobdy listens!"

"well i'm will byers, also known as zombie boy."

"why do they call you that?" ollie said playing with the short brown curls in his hair.

"well i went missing for a week, they found a body and had a funeral for me because they thought i was dead. the body wasn't even mine."

"i heard about that. my boyfriend benjamin told me about that, sounds freaky. what actually happened?"

"well the place looked kinda like the town in this state. there's something freaky about this town" i said ignoring what he said about his boyfriend. "you should get going soon. it's not safe out here alone"

we said our goodbyes and i set off to the middle school.

as I got to the middle school i looked at the field where i had gotten possessed during one of the worst years of my life at. leaving school early all the time, dealing with bullying because of coming back from the "dead", and of course, being possessed. i looked at the school.

next thing i knew, i was there again. face to face with the mind flayer.

"what do you want!?" i screamed "what do you want from me!"

"will" the mind flayer whispered.

"why me, why me!"

"will, don't resist." 

"i know"

"please"

"are you.. nice"

"let me help you. we just need saving. you help us, we help you."

when i got back to the wheelers, i walked up to mikes room. 

"mike! we need to have a meeting with the rest of the party!"

"what?" 

"it's urgent!"

"okay first of all, what? and second of all, are you wearing my clothes?" mike said, cheeks flushed a rosy pink color.
