"....and then we kissed. Again", Marinette gushed.

"Oh. My. GODDD", Alya squealed as she fell on her back on the bed. "You're living an entire fairytale, girl!"

"It was amazing", Marinette smiled, remembering the previous night with Chat Noir.

Alya sat back up. "So, have you two made it official yet?"

"I think so", Marinette shrugged. "I mean it all happened pretty fast. We both just said that we wanted to be with each other. And so we are."

"I like that. Simple but efficient and methodical. Straight to the point. That's kind of how Nino and I were, you know", Alya smiled.

"You never actually told me what happened between you two in the zoo pen", Marinette suspiciously wondered.

"And you aren't going to find out", Alya mischievously stated. "Anyways, this isn't about me. What happened after the kiss?"

Marinette sighed. "He had to leave. I think he's coming back tonight, though."

"So, he only comes at night?" Alya questioned.

"It's the safest. I wish I could see him more than just that but it's better this way", Marinette explained, a hint of sadness in her tone.

"All in all, I'm really happy for you. You deserve this after everything that's been going on recently", Alya placed a reassuring hand on Marinette's shoulder.

"Thank you, Alya. I don't know what I'd do without you", Marinette smiled. Her phone buzzed, causing her to flick away her attention from Alya and glance at her phone.

"You're smiling. Is it him?" Alya gushed.

Marinette giggled. "No, it's my doctor telling me I only have 2 weeks to live."

"Let me see", Alya begged. "I bet he complimented you, did he?"

Marinette laughed. "He just said that he had fun last night, that's all,"

"Oh, damn. Buzzkill", Alya plopped back down on the bed. "I mean of course he had fun, everyone has fun when they're with you. But my question is, why isn't he telling you how beautiful you are or how happy he is to officially be with you?"

"Alya, it's been less than 24 hours of us dating. Even texting me to say he had fun the previous night is a great start. Give it time, I'm sure he's going to compliment me soon. And he's the kind of guy to say those things in person, not on text."

"Okay, okay. I'll take your word for it. But if he doesn't compliment you in the next week, I'm going to have problems with him", Alya warned.

"Alright, Alya. Whatever you say", Marinette agreed.

Marinette almost jumped out of her skin when a knocking on her trapdoor window was heard. For a brief moment, she had thought it was an akumatized victim. When it finally hit her as to who it was, she unlocked the door and let him inside.

"Did I scare you?" Chat Noir wondered.

Marinette let out a small laugh. "Yes, but I was really focused on doing this design in the silence that the small sound in the background had me alarmed."

Chat Noir laughed with her as he sat down at her chaise, watching her put her notebooks away. Once Marinette noticed he was watching her, she smiled at him. "What?"

"I've never known anyone who could look so beautiful when they're cleaning up", Chat Noir was captivated by her appearance.

Marinette giggled, her face becoming warm and blushy. "Then you've clearly never seen Cinderella."
