"There is no refuge from the memory and remorse in this world. The spirits of our foolish deeds haunt us, with or without repentance."

Call me when you need help, or anything else.

Sasuke 0XX-XXX-XXXX

Naruto smiled. He now had Sasuke's phone number. Maybe everything was turning uphill from now.

Yahiko parked the car in front of their house and told Naruto to follow him even though he'd follow anyway. The blonde was getting more and more scared as Yahiko calmly opened the door lock and gestured Naruto to go upstairs. To the bedroom.

Naruto did as was told and climbed the stairs with shaking knees. His hand was touching the paper he got from the mysterious man at the party. Maybe he should call him, as Yahiko didn't follow him. He was alone in the bedroom. His fingers lightly touching the paper.

He decided to try to coax his boyfriend, and didn't call Sasuke. He took the paper from his pocket and smiled sadly. Sasuke seemed like a nice guy, and he didn't want to be trouble for him. He quickly hid the paper from Yahiko as the said man entered the room with a grim expression on his pale face. Naruto gulped. It was too late now.

'Sorry Sasuke.'

Sasuke left from the party an hour after the couple. Itachi and Kisame drove him home, and Sasuke thanked his brother for violently dragging him to the party. He had met the interesting blonde again, and wanted to help him. The guy he was with was nothing but trouble, and he could see it even if Naruto didn't realize it.

Sasuke sat on his sofa, drinking some tea and staring at his phone. He sighed and decided to shower after drinking the tea. It seemed Naruto wasn't going to call him. At least not right now.

As Sasuke felt the cool water clinging to his frame, he never heard the ringtone of his phone ringing and an the unknown number written on the screen.

As Naruto woke up on the bed, he felt as if he was drowning. His chest was heaving and cold sweat glistening on his forehead. Another nightmare. He glanced at his other side noticing that his boyfriend had already left for work. He sometimes worked weekends and it seemed he didn't want to face Naruto in the morning. Not after what he did. Not this time.

Naruto gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. Sasuke never answered his call last night. Yahiko had slapped him, and the blonde had took off to the bathroom, locking the door and desperately taking his sock off. The paper Sasuke had given him was hidden in his left sock.
