4. Dance With the Devil

"Already drinking ?" I turned my head towards the direction of the voice and almost dropped my glass. 

"Can't you see ?" I remarked and the blond huffed. "You know I wasn't so ecstatic for coming here either, as I see you aren't either." He said and I chuckled. 

"You see correct, Naruto." The said blond smiled and sat next to me.

'She was right...it is my lucky day.'

Third POV

As Sasuke and Naruto were conversing and drinking, Yahiko was making small talk with his childhood friends, Nagato and Konan. Nagato was discovered to be Naruto's cousin, from his mother's side, but the blonde didn't know it yet. Konan was Nagato's roommate, but they weren't together. At least not yet.

Nagato always had his suspicions about his ginger friend's boyfriend, because Yahiko spoke of Naruto like some possession. He always said that he needs to look out for the blonde, keep him safe from others even without any real reason, and they way his friend's brown eyes gleamed purple when he mentioned his blonde boyfriend.

The read-head didn't know what to think of. When they arrived, Nagato didn't greet the blonde, as his ginger-haired friend sent him to get drinks the moment they arrived. He glanced at the purple-haired woman next to him, who sent a suspicious look back.

"So, Yahiko." The ginger glanced at Nagato. "When are we going to meet the boyfriend ?" He asked and Yahiko rubbed his chin.

"Well I asked him to get us some drinks, but it seems he got distracted, maybe I should go look for him.." Nagato shook his head at Yahiko.

"No need, glad to know he isn't unhappy, as I first thought he'd be. He doesn't know anyone here, does he ? Not even the fact that I'm his cousin ?" Yahiko coughed and rubbed his thumb and fore finger together; a habit he vented when anxious or nervous.

"Well I haven't had the chance to, anyways, how are you two ?" He diverted the question and avoided the topic, making his friends frown.

"Hey Sasuke-san, is he your brother's boyfriend ?" Naruto asked while eating some peanuts from the table across the two. Sasuke sighed and nodded. Kisame and Itachi were dancing like there was no tomorrow, and he was a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, that's Kisame." Naruto nodded and drank some of the beer he had on his glass. They had been talking for about ten minutes so far, and Sasuke was already quite fond of the blonde.

The way Naruto smiled when he talked about something funny, or the way his eyes gleamed and his voice turned different when he spoke about something important to him. Mainly ramen, though.
