When a book is ended, this book leaves some marks, marks that sometimes cannot being forget ou erased. It was the smallest details, scenes, actions of characters that you can't forgot.
The same happens with humans in their lives. Sometimes you meet someone and you would never forget them, you would never forget their ways and manners, you would never forget their hugs and details, you would never forget about how they lovely called you or the way they smiled to you.
Sometimes, you two just being together for not that long, but still has this eternal marks in your live, the love and the old memories. Sometimes, you two are still together, full of happiness and good memories.
Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker has met a long time ago, and even it was a so many time ago, they still are together and they still has that memories it always comeback with a soft spot.
