After a long, long conversation with the dragon, Ei realized that the rain had already stopped for a while. Her back was still being supported by the dragon's body and she really didn't want to leave there so soon. 'How funny, I am more than used to loneliness and here I am, standing next to a dragon and wishing for him to never leave. Perhaps it's how companionship feels like?' thought the girl whilst looking at the empty gray sky.

It felt... strange.

The kagemusha girl suddenly realized that all of this was so strange for her reality. Being accompained by a dragon which has been watching you for a while... Maybe the girl just never gave him a proper chance to approach? Well, perhaps they could have become friends way sooner, probably it was her harsh and untrustful way that kept the dragon away. Who knows? Now all she could felt was this guilt for being too antisocial.

"Admiring such an empty sky? Your are indeed peculiar, young lady." The dragon's deep voice spoke.

"I think the sky after raining so beautiful... It looks like it is finally relieved after weeping for a long time." Answered a low feminine voice, almost like a whisper but loud enough to be heard. Pain could be felt in her tone, even if from a sentence.

"Your perceptions of life are pretty curious, I must say. Were you always this lonely?"

"I believe every person has a different perspective of life, mine can be very depressing but it's only the truth through my eyes." The girl left out a heavy sigh, her eyes never leaving the gray sky. "I could say that I may have some friends, actually, I have two friends counting with my sister. I had met amazing and intriguing beings during all my life, but unfortunately they left this world very soon. I guess I'm introvert enough to socialize with other living beings... You're the first in a very, very long time." Said Ei, still contemplating the empty view.

The dragon remained in silence, it closed its eyes for some minutes and after it slowly started to stand up. It went away a little to shake its head, miserable drops of water were jumping from its fur, some of them encountered Ei's cheeks.

And then, he finally spoke. "I must inform that I have to leave now, some duties are waiting for me and it would be very problematic if I do not attend. Will you be all right, lady? Have your cold gotten better?" Asked the big lizard, now fixing his eyes on hers, waiting for a response.

"Oh... I think it's my fault. I took a lot of your time, Mr. Dragon, I'm so sorry for this. You don't need to worry, I'm feeling way better and I can protect myself. You may go before you get into trouble due to me. Thank you for everything." Sadness could be felt in her voice, but she knew she had to let him go.

"Do not worry, it was nothing. Will I ever be able to see you again around Liyue, I hope?"

"You're way too kind with me... And I don't know about it but we'll probably see each other again, Mr. Dragon."

The dragon nodded and looked at the girl one last time before heading towards the unknown sky of Liyue. He was really fast... And pretty majestic, indeed. The girl lost the sight of him quickly and after some moments she was all alone again.

Alone again, like it was meant to be.

Some days passed since the dragon left Ei. She was still waiting for Makoto, who showed no sign of appearing so soon. For Ei's unluck, that alcoholic anemo archon was her sister's best friend, he was not a threat but he drinks a lot, Ei didn't like him at all and also, he had promised Makoto he would show her all Liyue, in other words, this "little visit" would take a long time to find an end.
