Back in Pontypandy,
Elvis was still waiting for an update but no luck has hit them. Elvis went back to Jupiter and picked up the radio to get an update from the dispatch centre. He was worried they were on their own without backup. "WP from Jupiter. Is there an ETA on South Wales? Over." Elvis radioed.
Elvis kept the door open and he rushed to the hose pumps to attach a hose line to their engine. Arnold was waiting for Elvis to get the hoses ready. "Come on, Elvis... Get those hoses ready!!" Arnold shouted.
"I'm coming, Arnold!"
Elvis attached the lines and quickly rolled out a hose line to Arnold and rolled one out for himself. He turned on the water as Arnold put his BA set on before he went into the building. Arnold went ahead into the building to find Sally while Elvis monitored from the outside. Just as he kept watch, South Wales Fire and Rescue showed up. They got out and got a hose line ready. Elvis was not happy. "Where have you been?" He asked.
"You lot fly here or what?"
"Maybe not enough for you to notice. But we were on the scene first."
"Well, easy for you to say, Cridlington but we were still in our First due. May have been the best idea to call us here."
"Whatever. At least we managed to knock this one down. You lot are on overhaul."
Arnold came out and Sally was following him with the hose in her hand. He made the rescue and the Welsh Ambulance Service arrived to treat their patient for injuries relating to the fire. One of the South Wales Firefighters noticed Sally. "I probably never introduced myself to you, love. James Gallagher. South Wales Fire and Rescue." He said.
"Sally Reid. London Fire Brigade. What have you been up to?"
"Well, I've been busy around the station. Why have you been assigned to Pontypandy?"
"One of the Firefighters had taken leave and she requested someone to cover her duties until she returns. That's why they chose me. It's at the expense of the Union."
"Ok. If you're sure... We knew Cridlington for quite some time. Maybe we knew McKinley from his days at the academy."
"We're done here. You guys are up. You have the overhaul. Send us the overhaul report while we are at the station."
"You got it. And keep Cridlington away from us. He seems to be having a bad day."
"No problem. Come on, you two..."
Elvis, Arnold, and Sally climbed back into Jupiter and Elvis started the engine and turned off the blue lights before they drove back to the Station. They left South Wales Fire and Rescue to do an overhaul at the scene. Arnold was texting Ellie that they were late again.
It was another morning in Tel Aviv,
Sam and Penny were still asleep after a thrilling night. They had been active throughout the night after their date at the hotel restaurant. They were laying down in bed with the covers over them with barely any clothes on. All of Penny's clothes that she had on were on the floor next to her robe and Sam's clothes were there too. Penny was asleep but Sam was on his phone. He had a text from Elvis hoping that things went well on Date night. "Hey, Sam. It's Elvis. Sorry, it was late to text you. It was 10:00 at night in Pontypandy. How did date night go? I meant to ask." Elvis texted him.
Sam couldn't help but chuckle to himself about Elvis' text and he texted back to Elvis who was home in the UK. "Yes, Elvis. Date Night went well. We had a wonderful night. I've been challenged to a competition with Business Class for the Return Flight on the Line. Penny and I have been keeping busy."
