(Shortest one yet. AND LATE! Ueueue,, apologies!)
Vash isn't.. all there, for a while. Nai shuts the entrance and keeps it that way for.. not as long as Vash is sick, but still a while. Long enough to watch Vash slowly become more and more delirious.
It starts when he initially has the entrance shut after Vash had mostly calmed down. Vash blinks awkwardly and stares at the closed entrance in confusion, and asks, "When did I do that?"
Nai watches Vash drift in and out of consciousness, clinging onto him with a far off look in his eyes and heavy movements. By the time Rem seems to have found them, Vash was hardly able to string together sentences, rambling nonsense to Nai with the occasional giggle.
"Please," Nai would hear from the other side, "I'm sorry."
It was a miserable two and a half days before Vash's need for help and to get out of there outweighed Nai's anger. The fear nipped at his mind and his body swayed as he stumbled to activate the controls to open the door. Nai fumbled and tripped as the shock finally started to seep in as he watched the door open to the teary and tired Rem, who stood at the other side.
Nai ends up passing out himself, for much longer than Vash would be sick.
