"But here I am, next to you; The sky, is more blue. In Malibu."

S.P. POV:
You had finally landed in Zaban city and we're now walking through the market with the Kiriko's son as your guide. "A Navigators main job is to identify worthy applicants for the Hunter Exam." The son explained as he lead us through the crowd of people. "We're also responsible for guiding them to the Exam site. You see, that's because it's almost impossible to find the location without a Navigator." He finished.

People had tents set up all around you selling all types of things. Food, jewelry, treasures. "Zaban city is one shady place." Leorio said. "Yeah I see what you mean." You agreed as you looked over and saw something that peaked your eye and ran over to it before Leorio yelled at you. "What do you think your doing you two?! Let's go!" He said and you both came running over.

"Here we are. I'm pretty sure that's the building." The son said. "Woah. It's so tall! Wow, what a nice place!" Gon said. "So that's the Exam site, huh?" Leorio said.

You all gawked at the site of the Exam until the son called out to you. "Over here." He said. "Huh?" You all said in sync. "This is it." He said pointing at a small steak house with vines and bushes growing all over it. "Come on, your messing with us, right? It looks like a regular restaurant. Your tellin me that hunter applicants from all over the globe come to this old dove to take the exam." Leorio asked. "That's exactly right. The hunter exam attracts millions of applicants every year. And no one would expect the exam to be held here. Right?" He said. "Good point." Leorio said.

You all walked in and then the son went up to the chef. "Is the back room available?"he asked. "What are you having?"
The Chef asked. "The steak combo please. The one that'll make is see the light. Make it four." He said. "Combo for four, eh? How do you want em cooked?" The chef asked. "Grilled slowly over a low flame til done please." The son said. "Got it. See yourselves to the back room." The chef said and you all walked to the back room.

"Okay wait here." The son said . "For what? Where are all the other applicants?" Leorio asked. "I can't wait to get that steak combo!" Gon exclaimed. You couldn't help but laugh at him for that. "I know you did not just say that." You said laughing a little more as Leorio joined in. "Gon, that was just the password to get us inside. There's no steak combo." Kurapika said. "Okay, so we don't get to eat?" Gon asked.

"Only one in ten thousand." The Kiriko son started. "You're very lucky. That's how many ever make it this far. Nice job. You did great for first-timers. Well. Good luck to you." He finished. Gon held out is hand and the son shook it. "I hope that next year I can help you again." He said

The room you were in slowed started moving. "Woah!" Leorio said. "It seems this room is actually an elevator." Kurapika said. "That explains it. That bastard thinks he'll see us again next year because he expects us to fail!" Leorio said. "One every three years. That's how often a rookie passes the exam." Kurapika said. "It's that unusual?" Gon asked. "Some can't handle it. It's to mentally and physically taxing. It's also not too uncommon for veterans to break the rookies so badly that they never retake the test." Kurapika explained. "So that's why people who want to be Hunters are willing to risk everything for it." Gon said. "You've hit the nail right on the head my little friend." Leorio said.

Leorio and Kurapika started arguing about what a hunter is. Blah blah blah. They kept slamming down on the table yelling at each other and eventually you had enough. "Hey, you two! Which of us do you agree with?" They asked. "Can you two cut it out!" You yelled at them. The bell on the elevator dinged. "I think we've arrived." Kurapika said. "Boys, always arguing about the stupidest things. Ughh" you groaned you said steeping out of the elevator.

You all stepped out of the elevator and looked around. "Is it me or is the mood here pretty grim?" Leorio asked. "We saw plenty of other applicants in the city but these guys are different." Kurapika said. "Yeah I see what you mean" you said as you crossed your arms. "Each in is a master in their own right." Kurapika said.
