S.P. POV
You watched as Gon went onto the platform to meet the next prisoner. "Now then. As you've all probably noticed, I'm not terribly strong. I don't enjoy fighting, or running, jumping, anything physical, really." The prisoner said. "I like that stuff a lot more than thinking. I guess I've never really been all that great at using my head." Gon responded. The prisoner laughed, "I thought so...So, I came up with a game. One I think we'll both enjoy." "A game?" Gon asked. "Yes. A simple game that doesn't rely on mental or physical activity." The prisoner said. "What is it?" Gon asked. The prisoner chuckled pulling out two candle from his back. One short, one big. "We each light a candle at the same time, and whoever's candle goes out first is the loser. Alright?" "Yep. Makes sense to me. I'm in; let's do it!" Gon said. "So which candle co you want to use?" The he asked, "It's your choice. Press "O" for the long candle and "X" for the short one. Choose by majority rule.""So we have to choose one?" Leorio said, "This is a damn trap." He growled. You nodded in agreement. "Normally, you'd want to go for the long one. Which means that low-life must've done something to sabotage it!" Leorio said. "Yes. That would be the safe assumption. However it could be a trick, and he's actually tampered with the short one." Kurapika said. "Hey, you're right. So, when you put it that way..." Leorio started. "Correct. There is no end." Kurapika finished. "Sounds like you've got yourselves a real dilemma." Tonpa said. "You keep your big mouth shut!" Leorio yelled. "Something happens when you're presented with an obviously biased choice." Kurapika said.
"Alright then...please take all the time you need. It's a majority decision but feel free to talk about it first. No rush. We have plenty of time, believe me." The prisoner said. Gon turned to them, "Hey! What should I pick?" He asked. "Lick whichever candle you think is the best option. That's how we'll all vote." Kurapika said. "Huh?" You questioned. "Are you sure about this? It's just that he doesn't think things through." Killua said. "Instead of fretting over the choice, let's just put our faith in Gon's instincts." Kurapika stated. "Trust his instincts, huh?" Killua said. "Oh, I get to choose? In that case, I'll go with the long candle okay?" Gon asked. "You want the long one? Are you sure about that?" The prisoner asked. "Of course! The longer the candle, the longer it burns. It's kind of a no-brainer." Gon stated.
Everyone froze. "Well, that's one way to look at it." Leorio said. "I told you he wasn't gonna think it through." Killua said. "Well at least he wasn't over here overthinking like the two of them. Geez, it felt like I was playing murder mystery or something." Killua said. "Well. That settles it." Kurapika said clicking his wrist timer. "Yeah, it's not like we'd be able to figure out which ones the trap anyway." Leorio said.

"Okay, looks like you get the long candle and I'll take the short one." The prisoner said.
The things that the fire keeping the room lit up was on came down to both their levels so that they could light their candles. "Let's light them together, shall we?" The prisoner said before they both lit their candles.
"So, uh...Normally how long would it take that candle to burn?" Killua asked. "I would estimate five to six hours." Kurapika answered. Suddenly a gust of wind came up and Gon covered his candle to keep it from going out. "Oh, wow. That sure was a close one." Gon said. "There's a pretty strong wind coming up from below. They'll have to stay still, and keep an eye on those flames. There's no chance to let their guards down." Leorio stated. "That dude is cheating." You huffed. "As expected from a prisoner." Kurapika said.
"If you don't pay attention your candle will blow out." The prisoner said. "Yeah, i know. That's because you're planning to do something bad. Aren't you? Otherwise, your short candle would go out first." Gon said. "I won't do anything; Cause you see, I came prepared." The prisoner responded. Gon's candle fire started to ignite and get really strong. "Hey. Take a look at Gon's candle. The flame suddenly got a lot stronger!" Leorio said. "I should've known. He rigged the king candle with gunpowder or another accelerant." Kurapika said. Wax started dripping on the floor and a "hot!" Could be heard from Gon's end. "Hey! That was a dirty trick! I knew it! You messed with the ling one, didn't you?" Leorio yelled angrily.
