~the next day~

"Hello class! Wonderful to see you again!" Mrs Mel chirped as she walked into the chaotic classroom.

"I'm proud to announce a new student! Come in Melanie. They don't bite you." She sang as she signaled Melanie to come in.

"Hi... I'm Melanie and I have flexibility powers." She introduced herself as she tucked her hazel brown curly hair behind her ear.

"Alright now take a seat next to Jade." Mrs Mel told her softly.

I stared at her as she clumsily made her way to the empty seat next to me. I smiled at her, hoping to build a friendship between us.

"Hi, I'm Jade! Nice to meet you. I'm new as well." I whispered. Melanie didn't reply, so I thought that she was shy.

"Jade, it's time for a game." Melanie smirked as she talked under her breath.

"Hey there! I'm Elliezabeth. I'm the girl who literally updates EVERYBODY." Ellie said.

"So like the PHEONIX PARTY has been moved to tonight. Cuz like the cafeteria is used for something else on the initial date. So yea!" She explained.

I freaked out right on the spot as I realized that I haven't chose a dress yet. I ran to find Nat. As soon as I found her near the lockers, I grabbed both of her shoulders, spun her around and nearly screamed.

"Nat I need your darn friggin help to find me the perfect dress for tonight's PHEONIX PARTY. It's been moved to tonight due to some reason."

"Hey cool down there! School just ended and sure of course I will help you find your dress! I have to find another one myself." Nat shrugged. I sighed in relief as I put my books into the locker next to her.

~at the boutique~

"I picked out four dresses. Lets wear each one and number down." Nat suggested. I nodded in agreement as I went into the changing room to try out the first dress.

After numeral tries and in and outs of the changing room, I picked the perfect dress and so did Nat.

My dress was a black tight dress with a scarlet coloured ruffle that flowed down at the back of the dress.

Nat had chosen a red strapless dress with black claw patterns that spiraled around it.

"You look beautiful!" I gasped.

"And you look awesome!" She laughed.

We both then decided to buy those dresses.

"Shit!!!! It's 6:30 pm!!! We need to speed back. The party starts at 7:00 pm!" Nat screeched as se checked the time for the first time.

We raced back home, had a quick shower and wore our new dresses.

"Just in time! It's unbelievable but the time is 6:55 pm!" I said as we walked from our dorm room.

As soon as we entered the party, everyone stared at us in awe. We walked proudly as the boys stared at us in awe.

"Hey.... I'm.... An unknown person. You wanna dance?" This unknown boy asked me. I glanced at Nat and she madly nodded her head. Just when I was about to say yes, Crystal pushed me aside and said,"sorry eehehe. But jade here has to do a touch up on her makeup. Be back in 5 mins!" She
Chirped as she pushed me to the makeup room.

"That boy is HAWT! Let's give you a touch up on yo face!" Crystal said in an accent. Guess she really is a mood swinger....

After she did my face, I walked out and the same unknown boy came to me.

"Well, crystal really did a good job cuz u look cuter now!" He scratched the back of his neck. I blushed profusely and said yes to his request.

"Well big boy!! U dare to steal my girl?!" A familiar voice thundered in the middle of the dance stage.

It was Johnny.

"Since when the hell was I your freaking girl?!" I glared at him with my voice taking over the loud music which vibrated the party house. "I'm surprised you're even a Mortal!!" I raised my voice even more.

But then I realized something weird. I didn't see any spirits!

"AAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Crystal screamed so loud that I swore the windows shook slightly. "MY POWERS!!!!!! THEIR GOOOOONE!!!!!" She screeched as tears trickled down her face along with mascara. Looks like it wasn't waterproof makeup..

"Dude! My powers!" Nat's eyes grew wide.

Something.... Was very wrong.
