Queen and First Crush

"WHERE IS JADE?!?!" The voice boomed. Several people who stood around the long, dark hall shivered as the voice rang in their ears like alarm clocks.

"I apologize for my incompetence." A man with a black cape that flowed down his back bowed.

"GET HER OR YOU ARE DONE WITH!!!!" The voice came again.

~Nat P.O.V~

"So james. Are you concerned for her? Or more than that? Hmm..?" I smirked. I knew that face of James. "I'm in love" was pasted across his face, no doubt.

"Shut up Nat!" Jade nudged me hard again. I laughed harder than ever before that I nearly dropped laughing on the ground!

"So.... Um, are you ok? I mean... Maybe, we could hang out for lunch next time?" He stuttered as his chocolate brown hair covered his sea-blue eyes. I could tell that Jade was secretly happy. Her cheeks were rosey red even though she's so pale. Slowly she nodded.

"Ok..." She said shyly.

"Have fun guys. James get out of here. She needs to go to her room." I said, pushing her into the dorm room. I admit I was a tiny bit jealous of my BFF falling in love. Oh well, that's how life is...

~Jade P.O.V~

Omg!!!! James asked me to eat lunch with him! No, am I in love? That was fast...... Can't believe myself for falling into his chocolate hair, Crystal-blue eyes, fit body, and his oh so goofy smile.

"Your in love with him right? Admit it. I asked you a question five times and your still staring into space till now, Jade." Mira interrupted my dream with a very annoyed voice.

"Hehe... Sorry, what was your question again?" I asked, embarrassed.

"Ugh, I was asking if you wanted to go for a dessert cafe down the hill, at the edge of the training forest after you've freshen up!" She face palmed. The second I heard "dessert" I shook her so hard, saying "YAAAAAAS" and immediately rushed to the bathroom to freshen up my face.

"Wow..... Boy, do I look pale. It's just like that day where everything went wrong." I thought to myself whilst splashing water on my face. Just then, my contact lenses dropped and I saw my colorless eyes for the first time in half a day. Memories flushed into my mind. I quickly picked up my contact lenses and put them back into place and went out.

I put on a grey, droopy sweater, strapless short polka dot dress and black tights with diamonds at the bottom of it and clipped up my hair.

"I'm 100% sure James likes you." Nat said while we were strolling down the hill to the dessert cafe. I'm starting to get annoyed with Nat always bringing that up.

"No he does not. He just wants to be friends with me.." I muttered.

"Come on!! You're literally the most perfect girl I've seen other than myself and my mom. Curly hair, huge white eyes that actually fits you, peachy lips, the curves, fair complexion and your awesome fashion sense. A guy would not resist getting their hands on a girl with these looks yet a good personality." She said, rolling her eyes.

"WHATEVER. Say what you wanna say, I ain't taking it in. But thanks for the compliment though.."I said. With that, we continued our way down the hill, which was covered with lush forests.

"We're here!" Nat said as she pushed the glass door. The cafe was just at the edge of the forest, at a remote part of the school. The house was more of a small tiny cottage actually.... The roof was decorated with licorice, lollipop, marshmallows, cotton Candy, all sorts of sweets you could think about what up there(inedible of course). A bell rung as Nat pushes the door. Inside was a small little refrigerator, with tons of desserts inside. Sofas, chairs, high chairs were arranged neatly. It was so homely.

"Woah..... This place is adorable!" I squealed, rushing to a sofa. I jumped onto it, landing on a not-so-sofa-like-feel. I looked behind me. A pair of annoyed sky-blue eyes looked at me, but quickly vanished.

"James! So, so sorry.... I didn't know you were seating here." I apologized profusely, with my face as red as lava. Nat was laughing her head off at the back.

"It's fine. Join me! I'm alone here." He patted the sofa, gesturing me to seat with him. I looked behind me, only to realize that Nat wasn't there anymore. I saw her running out of the cafe, showing me a "good luck" sign. I will kill her so bad after this.

"So.. Whatcha wanna order?" He asked.

I looked at the menu, seeing a lot of delicious desserts. I wanted all of them, but one caught my eye.

"May I have a lemon tart please?" I asked the waitress, who happened to stop by our table. She began to write down on her memo and rushed to the kitchen.

"They're busy..." I murmured.

"Yea... This place is usually a hotspot in this school other than the cafeteria." James explained. I felt his arm around me. I immediately looked at him, only to be hypnotized by those beautiful eyes and cheeky smile of his. I stepped out of it, knowing my dessert came.

"Your sense is really good Jade." He complimented me. I giggled.

I took my first bite, and I flew into the land of Wonders. That tart was like cocaine. Seriously, you could actually get addicted to it.

"IT IS AWESOME!!!!" I said with my mouth full. The whipped cream went perfectly well with it like apple and cinnamon.

James chuckled and dug into his own dessert, which was a strawberry shortcake.

Once we finished eating and drank up our vanilla smoothie, we took a walk into the woods.

"You know, when I first saw you, you were beautiful." James blushed as he murmured. I blushed profusely the minute he said that.

"Thanks..." I said, tucking my curls behind my ear. Me, being super clumsy, tripped on a twig suddenly and fell, but James caught me with his arms. His arms didn't feel like any other boy's arms. His arms were smooth and strong, whilst others were rough and dry. His eyes gazed into mine.

I felt him getting closer to me. His soft lips touched mine, and I synced with his rhythm. My hand ran through his hair as his hands hugged my waist.

After a few minutes, we broke off.

"I think by now you know that I-" I interrupted him.

"That you like me? Yea me too." I said. "I need to get going. Homework are covered in cobwebs by now. Bye!" I waved him goodbye. He, was just so hot.
