A sigh escaped her mouth as she watched the tablet in front of her mindlessly.

"Superstar Nadia Antiope has donated over three million dollars to charities across New York as her way of saying thank you and goodbye. It has been announced that both she and her mother, Dahlia Antiope are moving to Paris! Now, onto the weather." The reporter announced as the camera changed from the reporter to the weather girl.

Nadia had left New York over seven hours ago and to say she was relieved was an understatement. New York was beautiful, she loved the environment but the place had bad memories. Memories which she didn't wish to relive or remember.

So when her mother told her about them moving to Paris she couldn't have been happier. Paris had always been one of her favourite places to tour. The city was beautiful and the people were lovely - most of them anyway.

"20 minutes until landing. Please return to your seats."

As the plane began to get ready for landing, Nadia watched as the clouds thinned and the bustling streets of Paris were finally seen. With a small smile, she sat back in her seat and watched the plane descend.

The plane had landed and Nadia was silently following her mother through the airport, waving at anyone who seemed to recognise her. Once they had left the airport the two walked towards a black limo waiting to take them to their new home.

"Nadia."

Nadia quickly stopped walking and looked up at her mother, "Yes, mother?"

"I have some business to attend to, Susan will drive you home." She announced, walking away from the limo with Tasha, her assistant to another car.

Taking a breath, she placed her luggage in the trunk with the help of Susan and entered the car. Susan got in shortly after and began the drive to her home.

As they drove through the streets, Nadia couldn't help but admire the city. She had always loved going to Paris on tour and living here felt like a dream come true. She was about to ask Susan a question before noticing an old man on his hands and knees in the middle of the street with his stick beside him.

"Stop!" Nadia shouted, Susan abruptly stopped the car watching in confusion and shock as Nadia dashed out of the car and towards the man.

"Sir? Are you alright?" She asked as she picked up his stick and helped the old man up.

"Oh, thank you, Miss, I am just fine." The man assured as Nadia gave him his stick back.

"Let me help you cross the road, I don't want you to injure yourself," Nadia told him as she gently placed a hand on his back.

The two slowly made their way across the road and once they did she looked towards the black limo, whose driver was glaring daggers at her.

"Thank you for the help, young lady." He thanked her with a gentle smile.

"No problem sir, have a good day." She replied as she silently made her way back to the limo.
