Just friends on a holiday

Chapter 2

As we walked into the other dorm I could see Sophie and Amina hugging and reassuring Clementine.

"GO AWAY!!" Shouted Clementine.She really was in a mood.I could feel my detective senses kicking in because I noticed scraps of paper with smudged ,messy writing on it and half full suitcases on someone's bed.I saw on the window there were those new ,and trending, stickers some with flowers and rabbits.

"Are you ok?" Beanie squeaked breaking the silence between everyone.

"Do you THINK I am ok?!"Clementine shouted at Beanie with such anger it made her cower behind Lavina. I looked at  Clementine's red face stained with tears.I never thought she could care so much about something that when it was taken from her she would get so sad.I thought about how I liked Alexander and I guessed how she was feeling.If I knew Alexander liked someone else I would also become sad.

"Hazel.Could you maybe get your friends out of here.Clementine isn't in her best form." I was suddenly pulled out of my thoughts and back to the real world.Amina and I had recently become friends but Daisy didn't like it because 'she's from the other dorm' but I bet it's something else.

"Of course.Come on guys I've got my own news to tell you!" And like that I was dragging everyone back into our dorm room.

"Hazel!You never told me you were friends with Amina!"

"Sorry Kitty but time for the news me and Daisy wanted to tell you!"

"Honestly Hazel you have to go saying all this when I never said you could tell them!But anyways    me and Hazel are going on holiday!So that means we will be leaving this wretched school early!You may start feeling jealous . . . now."

"Wow, were are you going ?Oo.Imagine if you go to Wales!!" Beanie always wanted to go to Wales for some reason and we never knew why.

"Actually when I talked to Uncle Felix  he didn't say. He said him and Aunt Lucy are going to be coming to pick us up and drive us there. And he said something about mystery guests as well. I can't wait!" Once Daisy explained everything everyone was left gawping.

"You lucky devils!"cried Lavina.

" Are you calling me and Hazel devils?"Daisy said this in a sharp and serious tone. You don't ever want to get on her bad side.The dinner bell broke the silence and we all headed to eat. As we sat at the table we saw that Clementine had not come down to eat.She was either to distraught to eat or to embarrassed to come down stairs because of the state she's in.Today we had roast lamb and gravy with eclairs for desert.I hoped were we were going to have better food then this.At least in 4 days we would be off in  a car to go on holiday forgetting about school.

I just want to say a big thank you to Wells and Wong for voting and following me!Please check out their books too!Btw in the next chapter it will be 4 days ahead we're Daisy and Hazel will be leaving to go on their holiday.Also I made up the fact that Clementine had a secret boyfriend.And before anyone asks stickers we're made in 1935 and this is set in 1936 the year top-marks for murder is set in.
