Broken friendship

   It was a cloudy day and Ash felt as if their bed would consume them. Ever since the gang split up, it's been nothing but hell. They lay in their bed staring blankly at the ceiling.. She wished things could've turned out better. Even though what happened wasn't their fault, they still felt responsible for the gangs early retirement.

   "I'm hungry" Ash thought still laying in their bed, but the food that they had stored either went bad or was low. "I guess its time to go shopping. " they thought. So they got out of bed, got dressed and headed out. It was chilly outside so the leather jacket that they wore was helpful, however the ripped jeans weren't. Their thin converse high tops made it difficult to walk on the hard ground. They walked into the store not noticing the tall man with long-ish blonde hair sharing at them in disbelief.

   Ash put in their ear buds and began shopping for what they needed to survive off of. Food. They were putting a box of fruity pebbles in the shopping cart when they noticed a man spying on them and hiding it horribly. He wore a black hoodie and a camouflage mask. Ash pretended not to notice and moved on, still keeping an eye on him.

   Ash gathered all of what they needed and made their way to the checkout. The man was still behind them, and it was beginning to creep them out. They "accidentally" dropped one of their items while in line to get a good look at his face, they swore they recognized him. He continued to watch them as he helped them pick up the dropped item. "Ash..? " a voice came from behind the mask, "is that you? " Ash froze hearing their name. "I thought I recognized you. " As he said with a growing smile, "how have you been? "
