Ash's P. O. V

I woke up panting heavily. Another nightmare. I find it funny how I'm still not used to them, how they still terrify me. My nightmare consisted of rage, violence, and the gang collapsing. I lost control, I put everyone in danger.. And Gavin died.... I knew I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep so I went ahead and got up.

I made some tea to help me wake up, I don't like coffee, and began to make breakfast. My roommate moved out a while ago, and thank them he gods for that because I hated him. He was perverted and all he was interested in doing was getting into my pants. I never let him get anywhere physically or mentally get close to me. I made eggs and bacon. The smell flooded my nostrils and floated through my apartment. "In 3...2...1..." I counted down. Right on que, my dogs came running in the kitchen and began begging. "I'll feed you in a second guys, I'm hungry. " I chuckled. They whined in response. After I finished eating I fed my dogs and the nightmare began to slip away from my memory.

I decided to head down to the gym to workout. I changed into my sports bra, workout shorts, and a jacket to go over my sports bra. I put on my sneakers and walked to the gym. My gym bag was long lost so I had to make due with an old backpack that j had carrying and extra set of clothing, water, and snacks. When I got to the gym the man behind the counter was surprised to see me. "I haven't seen you in a while. " he told me, "I know, I've been caught up lately with some family drama. " I laughed. I mean I technically wasn't lying, the gang was a family until it split up. "Oh I'm sorry." He said, I knew he didn't actually care, but I pretended that he did for that moment. "It's fine, the important thing is that I'm back." I took off my jacket and began my workout. I hadn't lifted in a good while so it was a little harder to lift my weight off of the ground when I did pull ups.

I was on the treadmill, near the end of my workout, when I noticed someone out of the corner of my eye. "Oh, hey Riley! " I said, catching his attention. I definitely caught him off guard because when he saw me he nearly dropped his weights. "Ash? I've never seen you in this gym before, are you new?" He asked. "No, I have a membership, I just haven't used it in a while. " I said turning off the treadmill. "Well, since we're here, wanna go get lunch? I'm done with my workout." Riley suggested. "Sure, sounds good. " I said.

"We can take my car. " Riley said putting on his shirt while noticing that I have no car. "Alright, I can't really object to that can I?" I chuckled putting on my jacket. "Nope." Riley laughed. I changed into my purple hoodie and ripped, black skinny jeans and walked with Riley out to his car. We got in and drove to a nearby Chinese restaurant. We ate and talked for a bit until he asked a question that I didn't know how to answer. "Do you think the others are ok..?" I looked up with a blank expression, "I... I don't know.." I said. "I know where Kylee, Jayleigh, and Max went, we kept in touch after we all split up. We didn't contact you because.. Well... " I paused, refusing to make eye contact. "I'd rather not talk about that.. " I said. "But I would like to know where the rest of your siblings are." I said looking up again with a smile. He returned the smile and proceeded to tell me where Max was first. "He moved to Louisiana, I've been wanting to ask him out but it seems that nothing had gone my way." I looked at him stunned, I couldn't believe how mature he sounded now. "It's amazing how we found each other. " He said, somewhat changing the subject.

I was about to respond when I caught a table staring at me and Riley.
'What the hell do they want? ' I thought. They looked away as soon as I noticed them staring. Riley noticed and looked back at them as well. "What're you looking at? " he asked. "That whole table apparently has a staring problem." I answered. "Do you know who they are?" Riley asked turning back around to look at me. "No, but I have a feeling that they know who we are."
