Riley's POV.
I thought I was imaging it, or at least letting my feelings get ahead of me, but no, it was actually them. I'd actually found Ash. I figured Ash wouldn't be too happy to see me, but they were more than happy to see me. When they walked through those doors, i couldn't help but stare. They were like a parent to me back when we were kids. Id call them father and he'd call me son. I had 3 other "siblings" that were "adopted" by Ash. I miss those days. They didn't notice me staring, thank God, but they did recognize me once she saw me.
"Riley? " they asked. I'm surprised she could recognize me through the mask, but at the same time that's what was expected of Ash. The unexpected. Ash is very attractive, I remember when I used to have feelings for her. Though those feelings are long gone, I'm still happy to reunite with them once again.
After our meeting, we walked our separate ways to our homes. As I walked I let my thoughts wonder, 'where are the others? Are they still alive? Will we be able to find them? ' our gang was pretty big, and well known throughout what seemed to be the entire world. We kept out leader hidden so that none of our rivals could use that information against us in battle or for ransom.
Hearing Ash's voice again was the best feeling to ever happen to me. Yet still, I feel like this wasn't just a coincidence. This has to be some universal calling, to what I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it's coming at us at full throttle..
