Riley took off his mask and smiled at Ash. "You look different. " he said. Ash replyed in a fake offended voice, "Wow, what a nice way to start a conversation. " He rolled his eyes, still smiling down at them. A silence filled the air as the stood in the parking lot awkwardly. "I have to get home, " Ash said breaking the silence, " did you want my number so we can talk later? " they suggested. "Sure!" He replied, sounding more happy then he'd anticipated, which made Ash smile. They exchanged numbers and went on their separate ways to their homes.

Ash had just finished their dinner when they heard their phone go off. They checked it and saw that it was from and unknown number, "Hey, it's Riley, I was wondering if you'd like to get lunch tomorrow and catch up? " his words gave them a sense of comfort. Finally someone who didn't hate them, Riley had never hated them, he just kinda drifted away with the others after what happened. "Sure, give me a time and a place and I'll meet you. " they replied. "Meet me at ****** and is 3:00 good for you? " Riley sent, " "That's perfect. " Ash replyed. And with that they washed up and went to bed.

Ash met up with Riley at a new restaurant that had just been opened and they began talking. "So what have you been doing with your spare time?" Ash asked, "Oh nothing much, Ive just been hunting out near evergreen forest. " Riley replied, obviously proud of his achievements, "thats fun, what do you hunt?" They asked. "I hunt deer, rabbit, anything I can find really." Ash smiled as they recalled whenever they were younger, they had a bow and arrow and hunted alongside Riley and Carter. Having would have joined, only he didn't know how to hunt, so they went without him and brought back food for the winter. "Hello? Ash?" "Hm? Oh sorry, I zoned out." Ash snapped back to reality with Riley chuckling, "I see nothing much has changed about you." He said. Ash let out a chuckle, " I'm not as insane as I once was, believe it or not I've changed quite a bit. " Riley looked at them with an 'I don't believe you' look and continued on with the conversation. "So, did you ever get with Gavin? " Ash spit out the water she was drinking, " uhh.. No, no I never told him how I felt. " Riley, wiping the water off of his shirt, looked a little disappointed. "Thats a shame, why not? I thought you two stuck together after the... Well.. You know. " Ash looked down, "No, we stuck together for a while but then he kind of pushed me away.. " Ash had tears in her eyes, but she held them back, Riley, being their "son", knew though. " Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked, "no, I'm fine" she replied. " It's getting late, it's been fun but I gotta go. Thanks for the dinner! " Ash said getting up. " You don't have to thank me, it was my pleasure. " Riley replied. They walked out of the restaurant together and went their seperate ways once more.
