Jungkook sighs, looking down at the ground and refusing to look into his Mother's eyes.
"Jungkook, are you even listening to me?"
"Why do I have to attend a different school every year? It's getting very annoying, you know," Jungkook deadpans. He was never one to beat around the bush, or lie, or...be excited about anything, actually.
He will always be honest, whether the truth may hurt your feelings or not.
Mrs. Jeon sighs, now bending down to his height, "Honey, I know that, and I'm sorry, but it's because of Dad's job, remember?" He remains quiet, making her sigh heavily, "Tell me you won't fight it? Tell me you'll go to this school a give it a real shot?"
"I have to go now..." The expressionless eleven year old boy mumbles.
And he didn't tell her that he'd try, because that would be a lie.
The first thing Jeon Jungkook did when he walked into his new school, was what he's always done.
Sit all alone on a random bench, and read.
What else would he do? Talk to people?
Never.
He watches every student with no expression on the outside, but a lot of judgment on the inside.
Why would anyone wear that?
Why would anyone want to attend a 6th grade school dance?
Suddenly, a strong breeze blows, making the papers of his book flip, meaning he just lost his place.
"Damnit," He mumble angrily.
A quiet giggle appears next to him, "Oooh! You just cursed!"
He slowly glances to the side, seeing a small boy with straight black hair, and chubby little fingers covering his mouth, and his eyes are nearly nonexistent as he laughs.
Jungkook just rolls his eyes, focusing back onto his book. Trying to find where he left off, specifically.
"It's okay! I won't snitch!"
The boy now sits right next to Jungkook, shoulders touching, causing Jungkook to cringe at the skin to skin, but he doesn't say a word, he just simply scoots over.
But the smaller boy sits closer to him, and Jungkook scoots over again.
This keeps going until Jungkook has no where else to sit, "Aish what are you doing kid?!" He yells, standing up and glaring down at the small boy with impatience and anger.
The boy just shrugs, "Making a new friend!" He stands up as well, now looking up into Jungkook's eyes, and smiles brightly, "I'm Jimin! Park Jimin!"
The bell rings before Jungkook can say anything insulting back, and he quickly walks away, leaving a smiling Park Jimin all alone.
Jungkook is glad that bell rung.
Never has a kid ever approached him so weirdly before, despite the fact that this is his fourth new school.
He'd expect someone would've done this ages ago.
He scoffs to himself as he finds his class.
Jungkook sets all of his supplies and notebooks back into his plain black book bag, then stands up and makes his way out.
