Jimin hands Mr. Jeon the packet of papers, all signed and reviewed, just as he was told to do.
Mr. Jeon grins widely, "I am so thankful to have you, you've done such a fine job Jimin."
Jimin flips his imaginary hair as he watches his boss take a seat in his big office chair. He's not going to disagree with the older males statement. "I will not disagree with your statement. I really am the best."
"I couldn't agree more."
Jimin and Mr. Jeon both look up to see Jungkook standing in the doorway, hands in his pockets with a soft soft smile. "You really are the best, Jimin Park," Jungkook finishes.Jimin's heart flutters, and all he can think about is how special yesterday was.
Whether he likes to admit it or not.
And a huge part of him knows that deep down, Jungkook is not a bad person...
He just needs to make sure he doesn't fall in love with the older.
But he can start to be a little nicer, right?
He doesn't have to fall in love but he can be, nicer?"Hello, Jeon," Jimin says quietly.
Jungkook feels his heart race as he clears his throat, refusing to let anyone see him even a little flustered. "Hi, Park. Now, Father, I came to give you some paper work."
Jimin moves to make his way out, but Jungkook gently grabs his arm and spins him around.
Now the two are standing close to each other, looking deeply into each other's eyes.
And as always when this happens, it's as if everything is in slow motion.
And suddenly....things feel different.
Today, somehow, eye contact with each other feels a bit more meaningful, more intense.
Both their heart beats are so fast, and neither wants to look away. Truly.
And Mr. Jeon stands there with wide eyes as he watches the two.
"Uhm...our date, tonight," Jungkook finally speaks up, slowly letting Jimin go.
Jimin gently nods, blinking, "Y-Yes. Where will it be?"
"I was planning on explaining all of it later, uh, over lunch maybe?"
Jimin bites back a smile.
'Why? Why doesn't having lunch with you sound so bad, Jungkook?'
"Okay, that's fine."Jungkook almost let's out an excited really?! But he holds it in. "Great...okay..."
Jimin slowly backs away, then speeds up once he remembers he and Jungkook are in fact not alone right now.
And once Jimin is out of the room, Jungkook stands there quietly with a smile for a few seconds before turning around and facing his Father, who's arms are crossed, holding a shocked facial expression.
"You care explaining the rare sight I just witnessed?"Jungkook nervously fixes his tie.
Hobi watches Jimin in silence, suspiciously as the two sip their drinks.
And Jimin giggles as he's very much aware of the eye on him. "Yes, Hobi? Is there a reason why you're staring so intensely at me?"
"Yes there is, actually." He sets his cup down and gets comfortable in his chair before continuing, "You haven't gone off about how aggravating Jeon Jungkook is, at ALL today. You haven't mentioned him ONCE."
