Jungkook nods, keeping a straight face with his co-workers in the meeting, but every time he looks at Jimin he'd smile.
Jimin takes notes, writing down so hard that he's basically ripping tiny holes in the paper.
He frowns, scoffing as he narrows his eyebrows is annoyance.
'I hate his face, how handsome it is.
How he can look so grown now.
It's aggravating.'Jungkook is wearing a white button up shirt, sleeves rolled up, and Jimin doesn't fail to notice the tattoos on Jungkook's arm.
He rolls his eyes as he feels his face heat up just by looking at Jungkook.
'I hate his surreal looks.
I hate that I don't hate the roses he brought me this morning.
I hate that I didn't reject the (very tasty) coffee he brought me as well!'
"This is amazing....." Jimin whispers to himself after taking a sip of it, "It's horrible," 'Horrible BECAUSE it's amazing!'
And when he tried ending it with Jungkook last night...he failed miserably.
"I-I don't know what I was thinking."
"Jimin," Jungkook says, approaching the smaller slowly, "I really like you...and I don't know why I feel this way, and so strongly too, but I do. And I can't help it."
Jimin clears his throat, wishing that didn't sound soo sincere, because it truly did.
"How about this," Jungkook starts again, "You let me take you on five dates, just five, and if you really don't fall for me at all afterwards, I promise to let this go. To let you, go..."
Jimin's face lights up, "R-Really?!"
"Aishh, you don't have to be so excited about it! Brat. Now give me your number."
"Alright, that's all for today, thank you for the hard work," Jungkook says.
Everyone gathers their things and begin their own conversation.
Jimin closes his notebook and rolls his eyes as he approaches the now standing expressionless man.
"Where and when is our first date?""Oh? You excited?" Jungkook asks, setting his brief case on the table.
"No! You wish I was! I just want to know for a heads up you know?"
"Okay, whatever you say. Our first date is tonight. Dress fancy."
"Fine," Jimin mumbles, walking past Jungkook.
"And have lunch with me today."
"I'm already going on a date with you later, you can survive a lunch without me!" Jimin says sassily before storming out the door.
Jungkook shakes his head, "I've gotta get used to this new, stubborn and sassy Jimin. He continues to surprise me."
Jungkook walks past his fathers office door, but stops once he notices he and Jimin smiling together.
He watches as they laugh and talk. Jungkook notices how his father really can't help but adore Jimin, too.
Jungkook smiles softly at this.
He didn't think he'd have to wait this long for Jimin to meet his father.
And yes...once the two were close back then, Jungkook had planned on becoming closer to Jimin, and holding onto him for as long as possible.
But clearly...that just didn't happen.
