Rory was left stunned realizing that the girl standing in front of him was Ochako, the girl he knew back then in elementary school. To think that years would go by believing that they would never meet again... until now. "O-ochako? No way... it really is you." "Of course Roy! I didn't think I'd ever see you again. We need to catch up!" Before Rory could respond, Ochako's friends came up behind her. "Hey Uraraka. Whose your friend here?" "Is he your boyfriend?" Uraraka's face turned an intense shade of red. "W-what?! N-no! This my friend Roy- I mean Rory!" Rory stood there a bit confused as he raised his hand up to wave at them. "Hey." The girls didn't pay much attention to him as they were still bothering Uraraka which made Rory feel a bit awkward. "Uh I'll catch you around, Ochako." "Wait!" Before Rory could walk away, he felt a hand grab his arm. Looking back it was Uraraka. "Give me your phone, Roy." "Uh ok." Rory handed his phone to Uraraka who immediately typing something in his phone handing it back to him. "I put my number in. Let's catch up one of these days." With a bright cheerful smile, she waved him off goodbye as she walked away with her friends. Rory was a bit confused but shrugged as he walked away.
Rory made his towards the metro station to go back home, but that was when he decided to send Uraraka a text.
[ Ochako 🌌]
R: "Hey O. It's Rory."
Within an instant, a notification appeared.
O: "Roy! I was wondering when you were going to message. I wasn't waiting for your message the whole time. Lol I'm not crazy I promise."
R: "Oh. I got you. How have you been, O?"
O: "It's been going good. I've been getting ready for the UA entrance exam. I'm planning to really give it my all 💪🏽"
R: "Oh You're going to UA? That's really awesome. What made you want to go to that school?"
There was a pause for a while as Rory was looking at his phone wondering why the typing bubble kept popping in and out randomly. That was until the text finally arrived.
O: "Do you remember that day back in elementary?"
Several years back...
During recess, there was a group of boys that were playing heroes and villains "Please stop." *sniff* "Why? Are you going to cry? Heroes don't cry! That's why you are the villain." The group of boys were laughing as they were pointing at a child Uraraka who was trying to hold her tears in. She had some visible injuries on her cheeks as the boys were rough housing her. Before the boys could try anything else, they were interrupted as a little boy stood in front of Uraraka. The leader of the group was confused for a moment before speaking up. "Hey! Who are you?" A fluffy black haired kid with red eyes had his arms out in front of Uraraka, letting them know that he wasn't going to let them get passed him. This young man was none other than Rory Tatsuya.
