*Morning June 6*

After taking a moment to adjust to your soft paralysis from being in the coma, you start to regain your physical strength once again. You see Takemi is smiling at you and seems to be glad that you are doing fine.

You: What are you smiling about?

Takemi: Oh nothing. Just the power of knowledge has given me many gifts and skills.

You: Is that so? Well I feel a bit better to move now. 

Takemi: Good.. Now how about you tell me about what you found out on your end..?

You: Alright.. Well.. How do I put this. So I didn't exactly go into my own cognitive place.

Takemi: You didn't..? But the research said..-

You: The research wasn't complete. If you don't have a great influence you just become kinda idle and mistake it as your own. But since the medication was strong enough to keep me lucid while being in there I was able to remember most of my experience there.

Takemi: Well, that is a good result from the test. What is this place that you visited..?

You: Well it was referred to as the "Cognitive World" by those who lived there.

Takemi: The... Cognitive World..?

You: Correct. It is a world that is in between ours and whatever else that is out there. It is a place where if you are the most aware and have the most understanding of the world, you can use your cognition to shape it to your hand. Somehow, I couldn't do anything even with understanding it, almost like I was just a piece on a board more than the hand that moves it. Regardless I was able to search within the Cognitive Space.

Takemi: So did you get any answers..?

You: Yes and no. The main thing is that I stopped my illness from-..!?

You stop suddenly and begin to cough, not heavily but enough to feel your body hurt..

Takemi: About that..

You: H..Hmm?

Takemi: Just before you woke up, I saw that your vital levels were spiking like crazy, like you were under serious distress. But it soon stopped but that isn't all. *Turning some pages on a chart and pulling up files on her laptop* I did a quick comparison of your vitals the moment you went under and before you woke up. And this is what I found.

You watch and see her place the charts next to each other and play the comparison of vitals. You noticed your blood levels had elevated and blood pressure was stronger. Not only that, oxygen levels were also elevated and seem to be at constant levels that didn't drop.

You: What does this mean..?

Takemi: Our little experiment worked!

You: I..It did?!

Takemi: I know you may have thought you could change your cognition of your illness but it seemed that was impossible. However you did affect its growth and intensity quite drastically. 

You: You're saying I slowed it down..?

Takemi: I did help a bit by doing some slight experiments on you, nothing too invasive but enough to have an effect. But yes, the illness that was plaguing you has steadily slowed and the symptoms seem to be reduced. I did a quick blood test and worked with past results and noticed that the blood cells have stopped producing the poison that is infecting your body. The poisoned cells still divide like regular cells, reproducing the black cells but they aren't infecting your healthy blood cells anymore.
