Broken Hope - Drew Angst / tmf

★ ℍ𝕠𝕨 𝕚𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕥𝕖𝕕 ★

For everyone it's just a normal morning at school, for Drew it was like a never ending maze of his own mistakes.

This Monday the boy decided that he'll go to school earlier so he'll have more time to hang out with his best friend Jake, who just happened to slowly drift off from Drew.

When Drew walked into school gates every student seemed to just went silent and whisper to eachother. Drew was pretty popular at school and outdoor, though the popularity wasn't about his successes. It was about his 'fucked up' personality, how he's a bully and his father spoils him rotten.

Only Drew knew the truth, not even his own homies knew the 'real' reason of his acting.

When Drew was younger, he used to be that joyful and caring boy. Until the day his dad came from business trip and his mother left them.
His father was cheating on her for years now, she couldn't bare this anymore and divorced the man, leaving Drew all alone with him.

She didn't even said goodbye, Drew was just a kid.

From this day he changed.

Drew put all the blame on his father, he started to throw him away from his life. He became violent towards other kids, he became a bully.
He hated seeing everyone so happy, with loving mom and dad. Why can't he have what they do?

" 𝙰𝚖 𝙸 𝚍𝚒𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚛𝚎𝚗𝚝 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝? "
" 𝚊𝚖 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚜𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖? "
-those were the main question little Drew asked himself every single night.

He would do everything to prove this wrong, prove himself wrong.
He started to think about himself bigger, even if he was smaller compared to others.

He learned to fake his feelings, manipulate others and get away with pretty much everything at such a young age...

Dad used to drink, and when I say Drink: I mean A LOT. He would often hit Drew for just being alive.

"𝙸𝚝 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚋𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚒𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝙺𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏"

Drew was only seven when he first heard those words from his father.
He knew that he shouldn't care, but those teared his heart to pieces.

Drew grow stronger on the outside, on the inside however, he was still a scared boy trying to be strong.

When he met Henry and Liam, his heart was slowly coming back together, but it was never enough.
Then he saw Jake, he was sitting all alone.

It reminded Drew of himself. Drew might have friends, but that doesn't mean anything; he still felt lonely.

Drew felt a need to protect this boy with all he could, 𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎 𝚑𝚎'𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚛𝚎𝚙𝚊𝚒𝚛 𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚝?

The four boys quickly became close friends, and for the first time Drew felt like he belonged somewhere.

They were his only escape from the reality...

One day Drew saw the new club opening, it was the music club. At first he was concerned if he should join, but would they even let him in?

The magenta haired boy tried anyway, and he got only laughed at by Hailey and Zander.

"𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚠𝚎 𝚠𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚕𝚎𝚝 𝚒𝚗 𝚊 𝚋𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚕𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞? "

"𝙶𝚘 𝚊𝚜𝚔 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚍𝚊𝚍𝚍𝚢 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚖𝚘𝚗𝚎𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎, 𝚝𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜"

Of course they would react this way. Drew was hurt by those words, he really loved music.
He played electric guitar like he was born for this, but why would they let in someone like him.
This day Drew decided to show them the "bully" they saw in him.

And this is how it all started.
