"This is really neat, Sofia. Thank you for this"
Carefully folding the nice tailored shirt in his arms, Cedric found himself walking the outskirts of Enchancia with a certain girl next to him
Smiling sincerely, Sofia tightened her grip over his arm and leaned in closer "You're welcome, Mr. Ceedric~"
"Now you have something to wear next week the day you'll get to visit your parents again!" she cheered in delight
"That's nice, but I was thinking of wearing it tomorrow too" a goofy smile now graced his face which Sofia noticed rather quickly
"Tomorrow?" she hummed in curiosity "Tomorrow is
Sweetheart's Day, right?"
"Yeah, and it's a perfect shirt to use that day.." Enthusiastically, Cedric couldn't hide his excitement "Gotta look the part, you feel me? Gotta impress the lady that I'm gonna ask out tomorrow"
"Give it back."
His merriment was cut short as he turned to his side to see Sofia herself with a stern look on her face. Her eyes looked unhappy in all sorts of way
"Wh.. Wha?""There's a torn seam on the side. I wanna take care of it first before giving it to you"
Checking the shirt again, Cedric didn't see any seam at all "I don't see anything like that, Sofia. And if there is, it's not much of a big deal"
"Can I see it again please?" she held her hand out, indicating for him to give it over
Cedric did as asked, and without hesitation, she stored it in her satchel. Her expressions still refusing to break as she released her hold over his arm.
Cedric groaned in shock, as she looked at her "Why did you do give it to me in the first place if you're gonna take it away anyways"
"I'll give it to you next week. The exact day we're gonna visit Mystic Meadows"
"B-But I need it for my date... and you know I don't have shirts as nice as that!"
"Woow... that sounds like a terrible situation, Mr. Ceedric" her voice was monotonous in purporse
Her sarcasm finally showed, a trait she eventually got from him. Hearing this was like poetic justice from the man himself. Sighing to himself, Cedric crossed his arms and just proceeded to walk still oblivious on what caused Sofia's sudden shift in her mood
And thus, it was one silent and awkward walk back to the castle.
