(Sero POV)
"I'm your what?" Izuku asked, his jaw dropping as he heard me explain what his job was.
"My secretary." I repeated. "Everyone here does a horrible job at keeping up with everything and when I ask them to do something, they do not do that. I'm giving you some trust that you'll be unlike them and actually do the work. I hope that this wasn't a mistake." I narrowed my eyes.
Izuku eyes were wide, giving me a full view of his eye color. It was a bright green, much brighter than his hair, and when light hit them, they shined really bright. And his hair was fluffy and seemed messy but in a neat way. Then I also noticed the way he stood. His body was skinny and frail, pale skin, freckles across his body, and he was much shorter than the average male. He looked like he needed more food, sleep, and something else. Something I couldn't quite catch. He was shrunk nervously with a stance of no confidence.
"I'll work hard." Izuku answered. And I could hear the sincerity and like he was ready for the challenge and he planned on winning. But there was no winning.
I straightened myself, "good. You can start by those papers on your desk. Look through them and separate them in order. I'll be in my desk doing my work. Don't speak, no noise, and try not to mutter, got it?"
He nodded, "Yes Ser-"
"Yes sir." I frowned. "When we are in work you will call me Sir."
"Yes sir." He quickly turned and made his way to the desk I had pointed to.
Sitting at my own desk, I got to work. It was a busy day with a lot of paperwork. I spend most of my time doing paperwork, signing things for permissions, and answering calls.
"Mr. Sero, we have a man here who would like to speak with you. He said he is here about the check for the building of your next exhibit." The old woman I had hired for the front desk poked her head through.
I sighed stressfully, "damn it, let him in." I waved my hand looking down at my papers. The door closed and Izuku raised his head to my distress, which I found oddly appealing.
"Are you alright, Se- Sir?" Izuku asked quietly. "You seem so frustrated."
"I'm fine, Izuku." I sighed, "just sick of seeing this guy. He has quite a temper."
"TAPE ASSHOLE STOP BEING FUCKING LAZY AND GIVE ME THE MONEY ALREADY!!" The door bust open and Izuku flinched from fear and sudden movement. Sero got annoyed at how Izuku seemed so scared and tried to correct himself before he revealed this sudden feeling towards Izuku. It just had to be the soulmate mark reacting to him denying Izuku. It made no sense. I was getting him as close as possible without being in a relationship.
"Bakugou Katsuki, please refrain from screaming." Sero stood up and pulled out a cigarette. "I understand your frustration but I could not get a check at the moment right now. I have more important things then this and you know it. The construction can't be processed right now."
"You already signed the paperwork for the constru-"
"Kacchan?" Izuku suddenly interrupted, standing slightly from the chair.
"Wait a second...Deku is that you?" He turned around and instantly Izuku and him both gasped and hugged for a second. I glared for a moment, hating jealousy I got from Izuku hugging this man, but realized how weird and toxic that was and ignored the feeling to just observe.
"I haven't seen you since High School, how are you Kacchan?" Izuku asked when they pulled apart.
"Well you've seen what I'm dealing with right now." Katsuki motioned towards me, too which I glared at.
Izuku smacked Katsuki's arm hard and chuckled. "Be nice Kacchan, he is my boss and you ought to be nice to such a powerful man, he's gotten farther than I have for sure."
"Oh that's why you work here huh." Bakugou huffed, "so your done with your old job, right? The job you got right after High School."
Izuku tensed slightly and bit his lip nervously, "no, Kacchan, not anymore."
"Good. You deserve better than what you got there." He snarled. "Glad to see you found yourself a job like this." Bakugou threw an arm around Izuku's shoulder. "Wanna catch up after work and go out for drinks. Found a pretty nice gay bar if you wanna maybe meet someone, ya'know."
"Oh..." Izuku chuckled nervously. "No thank you, Kacchan. I actually have met someone." My heart seemed to speed up when he glanced over at me only to glance back at Bakugou. "My soulmate."
Bakugou gasped, "really? Damn Deku you really surprise me sometimes. What is his name?"
I waited for Izuku to say something but he just shrugged with a smile, "He is great. Nice, hardworking. Maybe you could meet him one day."
"Yeah I'd love too. Still wanna go out for drinks?"
"No, he can't." I decided I had enough of this. "He is working over time today since it is his first day, and you need to leave now that you have nothing left to talk to me about, maybe another time."
Bakugou looked up at me and snarled at how I gave him glares and he opened his mouth like he was about to scream but Izuku out his hand on Bakugou's shoulder gently. "It's alright, Kacchan. Calm down. He's right, maybe another time."
