My Heart Is A Poem

Too Much

You seem like a nice mistake
Out of so many I've already made.
You could be the worst or the best,
Seeing you makes me feel so blessed.

Your killer smile swimming in my brain;
Your sharp tongue being worth all the pain.

Scaredy little rabbit scooting around,
They will be glad to be finally found.
I've been running away all my life
Cause world sounds to me like a strife.
So maybe you're the stop I really need
Even if it takes us both to bleed.

I may be too much to comprehend;
I would accept only being your friend
To don't get burned in that flame,
I would leave you alone on the street
Not to fall again for that smile so sweet.

I'm living across your books
Drowning drunk in your looks;
The gold in your hands suddenly turns black,
Your smile expands and then he attacks.

I'm condescending all my dignity.
Please if you treated me with antipathy
I wouldn't be crawling through crumbs
Hoping to find the song you hum.
