On February 5, 1974 at 8:08 in the evening, a baby girl was born. She was supposedly just an ordinary infant with an ordinary family to grow up with, except that, the day when she came out of her mother’s womb became extraordinary. .
Why?? Because that same day, at almost the same time, an Unidentified flying object .. a UFO in short .. had an emergency landing near where the mother of that still unborn baby, was laboring ..
Her mama had no choice but to deliver her in the nearby farmhouse’s barn. Nobody’s around except her grandmother, their pet dog Niger and a carabao.
There was a supertyphoon signal number 5. This was the reason of the unexpected crashed landing of the UFO, and the unattended infant delivery.
The baby’s grandfather was fetching the only nearest midwife, who on their wayback to the barn were blocked by a large tree that have stumbled across their path.
(By the way, the midwife-- Ms. Glory Tapat, was also the only one who could keep a secret. . and the grandparents thought that the labor and delivery must be kept a secret.. shhhh. )
When they arrived, the poor unconscious mother and the silent baby were lying on the cold wooden floor, with some scattered hays. Grandmother was also unconscious near the door, and Niger was barking continuously as if it’s sensing something unseen. The baby’s not crying, so the two were more alarmed.Ms. Tapat hurriedly attended to the infant’s emergency condition and gave her first aid, while grandfather helped his wife and his daughter regained consciousness. Niger keeps on barking, while Horny, the carabao was also whining at the corner.
Something moved behind the piles of hay which made Niger barked more, but the two conscious humans were too busy to have noticed it. A tiny spark also came out unnoticed going directly to the infant.
And then the still baby cried aloud – “ Uha, uha, uha, ..”
