Zateo, in panicked, forgetting that he was invisible, had accidentally tipped over the huge stuffed bear and it fell on the side table.
Merlyn saw this and got goose bumps. She ran next door to wake wawa and narrated what she just have seen while shivering.
"Why am I seeing things like these frequently?" Merlyn asked wawa confused and afraid.
" At first, I thought it was just my imagination playing tricks on me. But how would someone explain those things when they happen frequently?" She added.
"Calm down, relax,
keep cool, inhale, exhale..
breath in.. breath out.."
Wawa repeats each word like a chant.. Convincing Merlyn and herself that what happened was not extraordinary, but made her daughter promise not to tell anyone about it, pondering the incident.
They went to Zilka’s room and saw her sound asleep. They checked every corner before going back to sleep. They both agreed that maybe it was just the wind. Though Merlyn was 99% sure that it was not.
Meanwhile, Zateo hurriedly went back to the barn via the portal. He narrated what had happened nervously while his parents listened, dismissing it as just okay in their language, but made him promise not to panic when unprecedented things happen again.
They have to teach their son how to remain “calm and collected” in the face of an emergency or any thing that causes panic to any normal beings, humans or aliens alike.
(It doesn’t mean to become abnormal . .
It means, to be able to control the situation instead of the situation controlling us.)
