Seven years later..
“Happy birthday to you . . Happy birthday to you . . Happy birthday, happy birthday. . Happy birthday MJ ! ! “ Everybody sang joyously.
It is MJ’s 7th birthday. She is adorable and charming in her aquamarine gown with sparkling little diamond-like beads, complimented by a tiara.
Almost everyone loves her, except for some few naughty girls who envied her, like Debby and Alisha. But they were harmless most of the times, they were just playfully making some pranks at her. Only sometimes they were really mischievous, but forgivable.
“Come on, make a wish and blow the candle MJ!” her mother said.
“Yes, wawa”, she quickly obeyed.
“Yehey!!” Everyone cheered.
“What’s your wish?” They chorused.
“Oh it’s a secret.” MJ answered, smiling.
She really hope that it would come true. She longed to see her father who is working abroad and she only saw him once when she was about 2 years old and in pictures since then.
And she also secretly wished that she would at last meet that someone who keeps sending her gifts since infanthood according to her wawa.
“Hmmm. Okey, Snow White and Cinderella said we really can’t tell a wish ‘coz it might not come true. So, we understand. Whatever it is, we wish it would come true.” Merlyn, her elder sister said.
When everyone have uttered their wishes for MJ, they all eat, chat and play happily.
The party’s almost over, when the doorbell rang and 2 packages were delivered for MJ. It’s a box full of apples and a small parcel of assorted things, which they thought were gifts from his father, but there’s no name written on the packages.
They all wonder where these came from, except her wawa and sister Merlyn who silently had a vague idea who might have sent the gifts.
They were thinking that it may be that someone (or something) who keeps sending packages since MJ was born. Things like powdered milk, dresses, toys, fruits, biscuits and many more. They never told anyone about it. And they agreed to keep it a secret even until they die.
Even more about MJ’s extraordinary ability to float on air while asleep since she was a baby, and getting more frequent as she grows up, and even when she’s awake, with additional other supernatural power.
So they made MJ promise to keep it a secret for her own safety. And even at her young age, she understood the complications and danger if anyone would know.
